Problem with having Carn dum in this game is that the witch king abandons soon after taking arnor, so I doubt someone else would move in straght after and @eeliz94 they have to bend the lore to make a good game, and rivendell wasnt destroyed... its just agandars plan... I doubt he will even get close, as from the gameplay I've seen, you are making your way to his fortress without letting his armies advance at all. But thats just a guess.

Since he is a decendant of the "black numenoreans" (which is in the same boat as the Mouth of Sauron). "Although the game includes familiar locations from Middle-earth it doesn't deal with the core story of The Lord of the Rings, instead choosing to create a tale which didn't happen but could have done."

@Mithrondly The Witch king did not attack from the north.. as the attack on Arnor happed before the war of the ring. During the war of the ring the Witch king resides in Minas Morgul and leads saurons armies as a lieutenent in the assult on Gondor after failing to capture Frodo in eriador.

I want this game to be awesome because Im a LOTR fan, but why make up any more stories? There's tons of material that could make up a decent story pre-Bilbo. The creators could have easily used any of the histories of middle earth - the stories from the 1st and 2nd ages. P.S. Who is Agandour? A minion is one thing, but an ally? I thought Morgoth was technically his only ally and Sauron was his puppet. I hope this game is good.

It's more or less just information, much like a lot of the books Tolkien published. Don't think of it as reading a story. Think of it as reading a mythology, because that's technically what it is.

they cant invade rivendale because of the magic that protects it. An Elf-Lord which only exists in the book are almost as powerful as Sauron and the normal orcs are afraid of them, because of the magic and power they weal.
