It is so wonderful that we have so many great Enka singers in one era. So many names come to mind, like Yoko Nagayama, Miyako Harumi, Sayuri Ishikawa, Masako Mori, Kaori Kozai, Mitsuko Nakamura, Fuyumi Sakamoto, Ayako Fuji, Aya Shimazu, Toshimi Tagawa, and so many more. This is like a golden age of Enka music. Even though I don't understand Japanese language, Enka touches my soul and heart.
