holy crap. i drew out every room of this game on graph paper, and you just blew my mind. i never could be as reckless, i took every death so seriously. admittedly i was around 10 at the time, but this game taught me a lot about problem solving, and for its time i was so amazed at how 3D it felt. I will never cease to love this game. thanks for sharing this. You amazed me.

this game was way hard to play. skill jumps everywhere with no way to accurately determine where you will land. shadows would have helped a little bit. that game kicked my ass and i'm glad someone raped the shit out of it.

That really pisses me off - I spent hours, days months trying to complete that game as a kid - I'm surprised how much of it I remember. All those mis-spent hours in my room playing on my NES. Anyway - well done!

Yeah I also remember trying to beat that game when I was a kid. The game was so labyrinthine that I just gave up on the idea of beating the game and I just randomly explored the game for fun.

Ugh that game gave me nightmares when I first got it. I think I was... 6? maybe 7. The music scared me back then. Proves how good it is. Anyway; I wasn't able to beat the game at that time either; about 10 years later I was able to do it using a cheat >.> pathetic no?

he's not "very good", this is not possible without savestates, and he probably drew a map of the game... or maybe he has a really good memory. but it's a cool video. I could never beat th game without game genie.

You're very right! People are always dismissing or oblivious to the fact that there's an emulator involved! It ticks me off as almost ANYONE can do this with a few hundred save states and a lot of spare time!

This game brings back so many memories. I had this on NES when I was a kid but could never beat it. Years later I played it on ROM and finally got to the end but that took me days to complete. Good work on the speed through and you're right, that intro music is really good.

Thats was pretty good, hardly and seconds lost, my best timne is 6:02... and i thought that was close to MAX... i love this game it rips.. i can also smash 007 on N64, and mario 3 on NES the same way!
