I dont like the fact that if someone dies you lose them forever, so im going through this game and if someone i think is important like jager dies i just start back from my last save. I really dont like doing this. Is there any sure fire way i can keep my ppl alive?

i have a small bit of advice for anyone who will listen if u play the prolouge kill all the enemys with Marth if you do that he should be around lvl 9 so u wont need to protect him because he can take care of himself

I kinda have a problem with this. I'm trying to play this on DeSmuME, and for some reason, I get a black screen when the battle is supposed to start, like... when you can start using Marth. However, things like " Cancel " Still show up. Any idea how to fix this?

man, look like DS have some serious RPG games comparing to PSP, so i'm going to get the system. the question which version?? Lite ( $ 70 from friend ) I-version ( $165 in store ) and XL version ( $ 185 ) i'll have to check and see in person what is the different between I and XL version, just 2-3 inches bigger??

@ken691000 Get the lite, its cheaper, can play Gameboy games, and can still play new ds games. The others just have a shitty camera, and an okay animating program. You would want to save your money anyway since the 3DS will be coming out eventually and that will be a HUGE step forward.

The story is a bit of a disappointment since this is a remake but if you ignore that this is a pretty good game

For 0:15, if you are new to Fire Emblem, you should turn on the gameplay tutorials. I want another Fire Emblem remake, such as a remake of Monshou no Nazo and especially a remake of Seisen no Keifu.

this game is awesome! and surprisingly, two prepromotes (wolf and sedgar) are two of the best units. i only used wolf, but he had amazing stat growths.

Yayz! Moar Fire emblem! I suggest you class swap any/all healers you use because otherwise they get horrible level ups. This is based on my personal experience.
