  • clap! clap! clap!

  • i bet he's a great soccer player!

  • hmm.. well i prefer the hula hoop artist anyway lol

  • I think he's ingenious. But there's something in his juggling that makes me want him just to... relax a bit :D But yeah, he's really technical and a great performer.

  • when i went and saw it in portland week before last, there was no juggler...

  • @xXSkyGothXx The juggler is no longer in the show. They replaced him with a hula hoop artist. He is now performing in La Nouba at the Walt Disney World resort in Florida.

  • Me encanta tu espectacuLo .. en verdad Qe tienes un gran talento..! saludos.. atte: Malabares Pto. Vallarta

  • @malabaresmexico

oye me encanta su tienda saludos

  • he is one of the best guys. come to europe and you'll see a lot of technicaly great jugglers but yes hes one the greatest; Garfield is a dick

  • Anything is possible! I saw this live! Aweomse!

  • Anthony now performs each night in Cirque du Soleil's La Nouba in Orlando.

  • this can't be humanly possible, he must be using hacks.

  • First of all, it can be possible, if contortion is, & secondly, what are hacks?

  • That's a circus I would love to see one day.

  • at 1:33...he's human!!! XD

but i don'y like the music,i think doen't fit to his routine...

anyway he is absolutely the best juggler on the world,NO ONE can even be close to his level!

  • that is not true! Vova Galchenko is also a great juggler he is also better then anthony gatto when it comes to clubs! But i agree Athony gatto is one of the best jugglers in the world:)

  • yeah but you know the thing is that HE IS the best because he can do with clubs, rings and balls what no one can do with all of them.

  • yeah i know, but there are some things he cant do with clubs or rings or balls that other jugglers can do:) but he is actually the best:D

  • Yeah, I've never seen Anthony Gatto doing a mills mess with 5 balls for example (I don't know if he's able to, perhaps) and other tricks I've already seen made by other jugglers.

  • Comment removed

  • But I agree he is the most complete juggler in the world.

  • Nope, he does not practice mills mess at all.

  • Sure, gatto is the alround best juggler.

But vova is better with clubs.

  • I don't know if it's true, I guess Anthony Gatto always accomplishes a 7 clubs 7up 360º successfully, whereas Vova Galchenko accomplishes this only 1 of 10 attempts on average.

  • Anthony does not get a 7 club 7 up every time. where do you hear these things and dont make up facts

  • I think it's best to say that no one really knows which one is better at clubs. So far the videos don't really give any evidence one way or the other.

  • I do think Anthony is better than Vova at 7 clubs.

7 club backxx, 10 catches back to qualify,7 club crotchthrows, those are som things Anthony has done.

  • Could you send me the link?

  • Link to what?

  • The 10 qualified catches of 7 club backrosses etc. I've never seen them.

  • Oh, it is not on the internet anymore.

  • How convenient. When were those out? I guess I can ask one or two guys about it.

  • All of these jugglers including Anthony, Vova, Jason Garfiled etc...

Continually improve, so it's not fair to judge who was better two years ago, or even yesterday.

Every year the ber for jugglers is raised, so to call one person the best is not fair.

  • Unless your referring to Anthony Gatto who is very obviously the best. Vova is good at clubs and impressive but he isn't anywhere near the caliber of Anthony. Most of what is impressive about Vova he does in practice, But he has a hard time performing because of stage fright. And Jason Garfield isn't even close to that level. Thomas Dietz is probably the closest to Anthony.

  • I do personally think that Anthony Gatto is the best, for several reasons, and he is my favourite juggler.

Though I still think it's pointless to have these online arguments about what people can and can't do, and who's the best.

I'm sure most of us have probably not even met all the people we're talking about, which means we're probably just making assumptions based on videos we've seen.

  • Agreed. He is mine too.

I'm sure a lot of people have actually met Vova and Garfield the clown because they go to festivals and the WJF things, and a good number of jugglers have met Gatto, even though the number is slightly less. I'm just not a fan of sport juggling and all my friends who have met Vova said he was a dick .

  • SamMalcolmFireDancer vova and olga are the best at passing no contest and jason is no contest to vova anthony gatto and thomas dietz

  • No but that's cool those are the only passing videos you watch. Peter and Doug are way more impressive than Vova and Olga IMO.

  • Anthony Gatto is the best technical juggler in the world, anyone who disagrees is either misinformed or stubborn. He may not be the most creative, or the best performer, but when it comes to technical juggling he is the best all around.

  • That's true, the reason we say nobody's perfect in this world is because we can always get better.

I personally believe that the jugglers of Cirque du Soleil should not be tried to fit into the category of "the" best, because they all have styles as unique as their fingerprints, & they should only ever try to be "their" best :-)

  • Oh Okay? i really want to buy the DVD so i can watch it up close and/or far away and i can brag to my friends about it, lol HOORAH FOR KOOZA!

  • Also, I highly recomend (how ever it's spelt) that you look up "xangoacrobat", Bruno Gagnon of Corteo. He has some pretty good juggling routines up there too. Maybe not as great as Victor, but all the same :) Cheers!

  • I've been juggling for five years, and my juggling teacher is a crazy juggler, and I know several other jugglers in my area. They all agree that this person - I'll never remember his name - , Victor K. of Dralion, and Mad French Posse are some of the best out there. Of course, Mad French Posse era is gone, and there is a post MFP group at there, I saw their video called "Horizon". I'm going to see this with one of my really good friends who has mutual feelings about CDS in August. So we can -

  • be the judges of that. Have fun! - SohoNights

  • ummm....wut?

  • because he is the best in every single prop, some people say vova is better at clubs, or dietz is better at balls, those are lies, anthony is better than all of them in EVERY prop, by FAR!.

  • i love his juggling, but...maybe they should heat things up with flaming torches? or the classic Chain Saws perhaps?, idk its just my opinion

  • un idolo y maestro del malabarismo saludos antony desde guadalajara mexico cookis clown junggler

  • Awesome show!!!

I agree with the earlier comment that circus needs a new approach jugglers. But not just in music as was mentioned. The jugglers need to be written into the scripts better, it would definitely help if more jugglers looked into the progressive environment surrounding juggling in Europe and allowed themselves to be influenced a little. It cant be easy to write a modern script using traditional performers.

  • Er... is it ok if I send a PM, cos I don't these threads are meant for this type of discussion.

  • He means: compose a better song, but i agree with you.

  • Wow, what crappy music for such an amazing act... Just as in the juggling act in Dralion. Cirque needs to write for their jugglers better.

  • Gatto is amazing. He knows his showmanship and he can juggle like no one else can...no wonder they call him "The Greatest Juggler in the World" he was doing this kind of stuff when he was only eight!

  • you must suck then if you dont appreciate someone doing 7 clubs on stage lol..

  • oh don't get me wrong. i like anthony gatto, but he doesn't have the finesse as other juggler have such as wes peden or other such jugglers. i mean, anthony gatto IS the best juggler in the world and yet that doesn't mean he is the best ENTERTAINER in the world. sure he can do 7 clubs on stage but when a great juggler does something that has never been done before such as a trick they made up, i find it much more impressive. HAPPY???

  • He's a robot! That's the only explanation! It also explains his shiny suit.

  • He's and Victor from Dralion are really really good.

Then the Mad French Posse (Diabolo) are superb. In my opinion, he could be considered one of the best.

  • victor didn't juggle enough in his act

  • When I went to Kooza, he had only dropped one thing, and it was more tossing then juggling (throwing a little ball in a hoop on a pole balanced on his face). But yes, I wouldn't be surprised if he is the best juggler of all time.

  • He, Gatto, is the most talented performer that Cirque has. His talent his the highest level of technical juggling. It's not as appealing to non-jugglers, but what he's doing is more difficult than anything else in the show.

  • This show was even more amazing in person!

P.S. Please do not swear, there are younger kids on this site. Thanks!

  • What a fantastic showman. He is easily the best juggler in the world today. Perhaps he is not the best ever but he is certainly close. That routine is just amazing and so fluid. It doesn't matter how long he's been doing it. For anyone to master that level of technical excellence in any amount of years is truly exceptional

  • No, he's probably the greatest of all time so far.

  • he is the best juggler ever...

  • he juggled fucking amazingly for about 12 minutes without a single drop. He is the best juggler ever, no one else could do such a hard routine live without a single drop. WOW

  • the best briliantest technicalist juggling show ever

    gatto is the man

    einfach nur geil

  • cirque du soleil is probably one of the most amazing shows Ive ever seen

  • great the 7 clubs final routine incredible i think it is no more than 10 men in the world than can do it.

  • noooh it is incredible indeed, but if you're right no more than 9 men outside my town would be able to... I guess there are more :-p

    @OwlsRule: I agree!

  • Anthony Gatto is the best juggler, the music and the costumes are not good for you please come back to the cabaret and variete!!

  • WTF is there an audience cause i don't hear anyone clap ?

  • Do you not see in the title of this video that says "Press Conference"? That means the show only had reporters watching.

  • They muted them out.

  • God! what a routine!!!

    He's a great juggler!

It's totally acceptable if he drops sometimes!

hahahaha he must get so tired!

  • watching his videos makes me mad because i have never seen him drop anything! he could at least drop 1 ball!

  • I have two friends that have seen Kooza at different times and they both saw him drop during the show. Nobody is perfect. He is human after all...

  • yes, but most of the time he doesnt drop because of the 15 or 20 years that he has been doing almost the exact routine, but i figured that he wasnt perfect every show.

  • What? He hasnt even been in cirque du soleil for more than 2 years. He hasnt been doing the exact same routine, hes just good.

  • no i mean his routine when he was a kid was almost the same, before he was with cirque. but he has added a lot harder stuff like 9 rings and 7 clubs.

  • I saw the show a few weeks ago, and this guy is unfortunately underused. Don't get me wrong, he's incredibly talented, but before him, there's the 3 contortionist girls, the freaking maniacs on the ropes and the wheels of death. All of those could be THE highlight on any Cirque du Soleil shows, so when I saw him come in wit his juggling tools, i was like "...please finish quickly, I wanna see the rest"

  • i agree why did they put him in the middle of the show?

  • vova retirate del malabarismo

    este compadre la rompe

  • wow this guy ia amazing...and to the people who said the music is NOT good....well your wrong.....the music is what makes it KOOZA......music can tell the personality of a show, person, and more...its the little details that make it up to become one....dont you guys think so....this music is what brings the how alive....makes everyone addicted to it, its what gets everyone excited and pumped up for what is next...never judge a show/act by the music!

  • What a waste of a perfectly good Vegas casino act.

  • Hmm, feels more like a resident Vegas show instead of a touring show.

  • amazing one of my favorite jugglers but horrible music!!

  • its not horriable...its wat makes him pumped up

  • I agree...an amazing routine, but not really a Cirque routine. Very Vegas, versus the type of creativity (even if less skill) that Viktor Kee showed in Dralion. Interesting...at the link below, you see Gatto doing many of the same bits in this routine, at age 12. With even worse music.

  • Sorry...forgot the link and I guess it won't let me post it. From this page, it should be over in the "Related" list. It's titled Anthony Gatto 1985, posted by DampRabbit. 8:38 in length.

  • I totally agree. Don't get me wrong. He's skillfully amazing but artistically its not something you would see from Cirque du Soleil. It looks like a Vegas lounge act. And the music is painful!

  • ese tipo no es humano eh jaja

  • incredible

  • This guy gives the word ambidextrous a whole other meaning.

  • I'm a life-long fan of the man and this video is yet another display of why he is the king.

  • scary music/ make up

  • Oh my I do hope Cirque bring Kooza and Mr Gatto to the UK. Most excelent stuff.
