@iRouRoui Yes... The little router that you have in your home may be running a really small Linux distribution named BusyBox that makes everything possible. OpenWRT ((the distribution that he uses) use Busybox. Everything in less that 4 MB of memory and 32 MB of RAM.
Good info! Audio quality is limited by USB vs S/PDIF or other digital connections. The USB "soundcard" will be important, a cheap one will pretty much limit you to a mediocre sound quality. Many USB DACs are limited to 16 bits / 48 kHz max. Do not confuse (USB 1,2 or 3) and the USB audio standard (1 or 2). USB Audio Class 1 (1998) allows for 24 bits / 96 kHz max. Windows does not natively support USB audio class 2. 3rd party USB class 2 driver on Windows is req. Search: "intro computer audio"

under 50 bucks plus 200 hours of your life programming plus the added stress of trying to figure this shit out! i think i'll just get the bluetooth reciever with headphone jack!
Such a bullshit could write only someone, who has never programming. Its only configuring and should last less then 30 minutes. Everything is said clearly. There are only few steps, but for you this is too much. Really sad.
Of course it'd be cool for someone to own that router, that USB sound card and a radio to begin with and cunningly put it all together. However, if you don't happen to have all those things already, makes far more sense to just buy a fucking WiFi radio!
I just use a C Crane FM transmitter II - It was like sixty bucks and I can broadcast a quality FM signal all around my house and property. Any audio - my records or audio streaming from the internet.
Not really wireless because you have to keep this plugged in with ethernet and you don't get a interface directly on the radio. I have seen something better and is cheaper, and sell on ebay for less than 15 that is wireless and requires no ethernet cable. Its called a wireless music bridge, basically what you made a video of here, brand is linksys wmb54g if anybody is looking for wireless printer and don't want to pay the money linksys sales a wireless print server wpsm54g.
@ForsakenThirteen Buddy, i've built electronic gadgets for 35 years, but i know when to just listen to music and not concentrate on my soldering iron, smell the roses man!
@PhobiaGuy Maybe it's because you're tired of that, but we're not because we're new to this? It depends on what you work at. Too bad, with all the convenience in the world, so few people are concerned with any kind of quality in sound.
MP3's, as a rule, sound like ass.
Anything below 256 is unlistenable...and even that is about FM radio quality at best.
I would prefer having a nice D/A converter wired to my stereo...and if I want to do web music, I will download FLACS like a real audiophile.
