those guys were vanished but to get reunite was difficult coz' some members were in Hong Kong, and some other countries.....but the DM Boots II was in market by singer Nissan Rana and due to the duplicity of signature he left again...

This is the great song... i really love it ... But sorry to hear that this DM band is no more existence in Nepal..... The music, vocal and wording of it .... really has the great feeling and meaning of the life ..... Wish one day the guys will reunite and bring a good album similar like this .............. i will apprecaite if you come up with something than making a history.

Now, Ashok is some chartered accountant in Sydney, Manoj KC; the lead guitarist of one of Nepal's greatest bands - 1974 AD and Nissan still has such great fan following. and me; fighting the Talebans in Helmand, wielding the rifle instead of the guitar.

Actually the story goes like this. Ashok Rai, Manoj KC and myself did perform few numbers in a stage show in 1992 in school. Ashok and Manoj were in grade 9 and I was in 8. I'd laugh at what we played but still cherish it. Nissan get interested in guitar after that time.

I still remember some 15 years back when were leaving school. We learnt the first three chords together. I was more into shredding but he was deeply into singing. He's got such a lovely voice, that's why.

He is in Koteshwor now. He was doing some new recordings in 2003. He gave me his raw demos which were bit techno but still cool stuffs.

I'm a closest friend of Nissan Rana. We were best mates in school and passed SLC in 1993 from Arniko Boarding School in Khumaltar, Lalitpur. Man! I'm so proud to see comments for him.

They came in early 90's. Band members were from Ktm. They used to play soft numbers. Now they are not exist anymore. These days They are in their own destiniy rowing their life boat.

I believed, DM BOOTS one of the best Gorkhali Band from Man Bhawan, Lalitpur. I knew Bass Gutarist (Mohan Rai, Bhume), he was from the Dharan 19. They just released one album thats it. Now most of the band members are living in Hong Kong.

It's been long, i live in sydney for long, so i don't have any information. Sorry, I can't help for this time. I am going back to nepal next year in 2009, I may get some from Mohan's sister in law, she is my relative and we are very close.

Lead vocalist was Nissan rana.. Former singaporey bhanja! He then made a second album but dont think he released it officially. Them songs were good as well.. Songs like "yo bideshma ayayra", "kati bachincha", etc
