He knows that. I'm confused. Why you would any artist get on stage and diss another artist playing the same festival. And I thought RR was supposed to be all "praise the Lo". It's true, Ye didn't quite fit the Bonnaroo mold but....he would never get on stage and chant "Robert Randolph Sucks!" So I will! loud!

excuse me but i was there and lost all respect for kanye.he was a fucking waste of the main stage.after he FINALLY performed it was a crappy show full of cheap tricks including a shitty voiceover that was very ridiculous.and im sorry but LOTS of artists write their own shit.why does kanye deserve a fucking metal for it?

No excuse me, I didn't say anything about a metal or a medal. I saw the Glow in the Dark Tour and it was fucking amazing. It was the most visually stunning show I've ever seen. No drugs needed unlike... And I've seen Robert Randolph about 3 times and eh, good musician but the jam thing is played. Regardless, my point was....Pearl Jam went over by an hour! Not KW's fault. why did RR feel the need to sling shit? I've hated a lot of bands but I would never get on stage and tell everybody about it.

Hey buddy, I played drums in a jam band for 10 years. We played the first two ACL festivals. I've played more shows than you've been to. I'm well aware of what the majority of jam fans partake in at shows. I was one of them. True I am a bigger hiphop fan. But what exactly did I say that makes me sound stupid? I'm just a guy sticking up for a guy who had a bad show. He had a bad show! Does that deserve a fellow artist getting up on stage and bad mouthing him? Thats fucking high school shit.

The media portrays him as an ass? HE IS AN ASS. And ants at a picnic? There were a lot of people at this show. Most of whom were also at the Kanye show. The contrast in talent between the two is unbelieveable. Also, Robert Randolph is good to his fans. That tends to help.

The reason Kayne got this treatment is because he made fans wait almost 3 hrs. before he would go on stage. And the reason he waited is because Phil Lesh was scheduled at the same time and Kayne didn't want Phil stealing any of his thunder, So he waited until Phil's band was done, and people were pissed. In my opinon that's a bitch move, just like getting upset about not winning a meaningless award.
