@ebayluis23 The 2011 trucks are pretty sick. I went with the 3.7. Yes it's the base engine but unloaded it packs a decent amount of power, I was surprised. If you're not towing and you don't mind having a supercab instead of a supercrew, 3.7 is all you need. A tune will bring the power up to 310 torque and 349hp.

I'm looking at the KM2 but they are sooooo expensive.

@77chevk1500 You are the ignorant one Sir. The F-150 has offered a locker for about 2 years now (2009). The key diffrence between a GM locker and a Ford is that the Ford system is on demand while the GM locker is automatic. An automatic locker sounds cute but had been proven to be hit or miss in off road situations. Some times it locks and other times it doesnt. You need a 500 RPM diffrence in wheel speed for it to engage so easing over a rock with the diff locked cannot be done.

@77chevk1500 Fx4s have Lockers in the rear, I have a 97 ford and I just got stuck the other night (street tires, getting mud terrains in the next month) and both of my rear tires were spinning so my LSD hasn't worn out yet after 120K miles. and my "open" front end had moth tires spinning at the same rate as well.

I believe that they could wear out yes, i'm not an Idiot and would rather have a locker. but I'll buy a locker or an fx4 before I buy a new chevy lol
