LOL rounds can sing her butt off! The judges were total sh!t to her! They constantly changed their minds every week and it messed with her head. I'm glad she stood up to Simon so she could finally get her two cents in! She is so talented and so many people under-estimate her. Go Lil! Can't wait for an album!!! :)

i mean she thinks she sings like A. Franklin?! c'mon! all of the songs that she picked always sounded forced because her vocal ability didn't match with her song choices. Her twists on some of the music were outright horrible. And the problem is that she didn't know who she was as an artist so she just did what the judges told her and took it too seriously like a 2 year old. Real artists would take the advice and find the balance between the crits and who they really are like Kris or Adam.

She didnt say she can SING like aretha franklin she said her tone is strong like aretha as in when she sings its low but mary J has one of those strong sort of higher voices, thats why lil's version of Mary j's be without you was in a lower range, its because lil's range is different from Mary J's

I don't think her voice is like Aretha's at all in terms of strength. To the contrary, her voice is more like Mary J's than she thinks. She probably has a clearer tone in her belting voice, but I wouldn't call that being much like Aretha. But I liked her performances, she really didn't get much help from the judges.

I noticed the contradictions right away! Even though she should have been removed, the judges provided a cluster mess when it came to LIL. Less judges next year. Good luck Lil you do have some chops!

even tho im not a fan of hers i agree with lil. the judges were contradicted themselves about her at times and were very confusing as to what they want her to "be"

I wish they would tell her to not always be so pitchy. To me, that was the REAL problem. At least when people impersonates others, they still SOUND good. I think she had a great voice, but did not know what to do with it.
