Polyphony was so embarrassed by their "damage physics" that they made up a bullshit rumor that it was unlocked....what a load of horseshit that so many people believed. Damage in single-player is ALL cosmetic anyway, so even if it was true it would be the worst development decision ever. I am a Forza player but I have massive respect for Gran Turismo 5. Although I hate the standard vs Premium situation the cars that feature the full damage look great. If Gt6 has complete consistency (All premium, fixes car sound and same damage for each car) I will really consider buying the game. The gameplay looks great but I just can't accept the standard nonsense. If they broaden up the car list with higher end cars like Forza I will surely buy.

Second, the Wii has good games too (Like Goldeneye 007, Super Mario Galaxy, SSBB and several others). Sure, the graphics suck, but that's not what makes a game good, it's the game play and controls.

The thing about Gran Turismo 5 and all racing games, we all experience them differently. And this game makes sure you do. The downfall would be the imported cars from gt4 haven't been cockpitted and they were planning on releasing motorcycles but sony said no and so well have to wait till christmas time for them. This is probably the most precise racing game, but they should invent eliminator or takedowns and spinouts to add more fun to it in the next one.
