Too bad Blackbeard was really kind of a wimp compared to the other major POTC villains. Barbossa and Davy Jones were much better written characters.

@RickLowerboy84 I agree he should have lived on so they could have developed his character more. His death is one of the only things I HATED about the movie. He could have had a lot of potential like Barbossa, Davy Jones, and hell even Beckett.

@obiwankenobi2nd yeah, and i saw the movie in Real3D, n when that scene came up when it showed his death, i thought immediately "Last Crusade"--- "He obviously chose poorly". Blackbeard's death was extremely graphic and disturbing to watch, even though brief, the fact it showed chunks of his skin and blood flying everywhere made me squirm. his skeleton reaching to the camera was freaky!!! DEFINATELY NOT for a PG-13 film at all, but pretty well executed scene....
