yeah. any sidekick like the lx's and slide's themes can be put on the 08. i say that the slide's themes will look alot better on the 08, but the LX's themes wil look kinda the same thing as the slide's.

you are probably using windows vista and hiding file extensions. If you cant see the extension just look for the file that has KG or the name of the theme as file name and that's the key guard.

go to the theme on your SDcard and look for the JPG file (On my themes it is usually named kg.jpg or name-of-theme.jpg).

Copy the JPG file to the folder called DCIM and then you can load the key guard by going to Keyguard and Security settings and selecting it.

look hook your phone up to the computer goto where your phone is located where it says dcim andmusic make a folder name it themes okay download any theme you want to your desktop x out everything goto the them extract all file's then goto computer it will show your sidekick click on it it'll show dcim,mucic an themes so extract it to themes then hit finish and unplug your sidekick goto bacgrounds and lokk you'll see it

yes, but I will only recommend you use themes from skLX and sk08 since the resolution is the same, themes from skslide and sk3 will look stretched on the sk08.

If you're trying to load your own custom theme, there might be something wrong with your theme, try one of my themes first and if it doesn't work you might have the themes in the wrong folder.. The folder should be named "Themes".

The key guard is the screen that shows when you're not using the phone. The default key guard is usually a wallpaper that says "T-Mobile Sidekick".

Maby its me or my sidekick that retarded, but i have done everything 2 get themes on my sidekick. i have downloaded over 20 themes, but they will not show up through my sidekick's background menu. they are on the memory card theme folder.. whats wrong???

The folder is to be named "themes". If you have it as "theme" without the "s" it will not work. The themes folder is supposed to be in the root of your memory card, same place where the "DCIM" folder and "Music" folder are at.

The screen size for the new Sk 2008 is the same as the Sk LX so all the themes at SkLxthemes will look flawless on the Sk 08.

After the theme is on the themes folder, disconnect your phone from the computer and follow the screen shots at the end of the video to load your theme and key guard, Press Menu button... Go To Background.. Load Theme, Press Menu button go to Settings... Key Guard & Security... Load Key guard, I cant make it any easier.
