Lydon once said on the Australian music show, Countdown, in 1984 that Cindi Lauper was a bag and that he hated her songs. Now here he is being nice and friendly to her. This guy is nothing but a fake and a fraud. Many times in early Sex Pistols tv interviews, he use to say how much he hated this band and that band. But when the interview was over, he`d say to the interviewer how much he actually loved these bands. Malcolm Mclaren even said that Johnny`s image was all an act. It`s all about money

There is a huge difference between doing an ad for a product you actually believe in (as he has said of English butter) and making shite music for the money... especially when doing the music you want to do makes you so relatively little money. If you believe that musicians outside of the huge sellout megastars make lots of money, then you need to educate yourself. Most make 2 or 3 dollars per unit on an album. That doesn't add up to much unless you sell millions of copies.

I think that there's a lot of good artists that were Gaga cheerleaders when she first came out that wish that they could eat their words, now. Madonna's likely feeling different now that Gaga's ripped off Express Yourself (Born This Way). I have no problem with Gaga's music, there's always a demographic for that sort of mindless tripe, I do have a problem with her bullshit backstory that she's paid her dues when she went straight from her mother's rich tit to the stage.
