body kits not sure, but exhaust i recommend godspeed exhaust its like almost exact quality as this HKS exhaust but cheap i got mine off ebay for about 300 bucks... only downside is you can kinda tell welds and stuff are not as great as HKS one but its still pretty good and its loud

R350zz must be an idiot. The only stock 08z that is killing a G35, is A - if the G35 is parked, or B - it's an automatic lol. Even with the..200? pounds lighter the z has, I walked Zs in my 06 all day. a 370Z is a different story.. but it's all the same VQ, so it REALLY comes down to the driver. Put a stock 350 against a G, and I guarentee whichever car the better driver is in, will take it. Oh, and does anyone know if the new Zs have TCS?
Umm.. you do realize that the Z is lighter than the g35? Granted its the same engine ..the Z lacks much of the luxuries that the G35 has. Luxury adds weight. Weight slows the car down. In a quarter mile drag race the Z wins it by a good 15 feet. How do I know this? I've owned both cars and can attest the Z is faster.

That's untrue. The Nismo system for this particular model uses a Y pipe configuration. I don't know how much you know about exhaust systems but Y pipes are the most restrictive. The HKS Hi power uses dual pipes so it doesn't choke the crap out of your engine. True dual is the only way to go with these cars.

No but I know of numerous websites in which to purchase exhaust systems from. It's just common sense. A V engine means 2 sets of cylinders and exhaust ports on either side of the engine. Why would you only have one pipe expelling the exhaust gases from all cylinders? That's the way I see it. Don't get me wrong, you'll get a performance boost because anything is better than stock, but to really wake up your engine, especially the VQ. You'll want to let it breathe.

I'll try my best. '03-'04 6speeds had the Brembo brakes. In 2005, the instrument panel was updated and if it is a 6speed, you have the revup motor. If it's an auto, it's the same motor from the '03-'04. Also, the 19" wheels became available. In 2006, they updated the headlights with projectors and different taillights. The sport package included a sport bumper and sport sideskirts.

Usually, people go with 8.0"-9.5" up front and 9.5"-11.0" in the rear. Mine are 8.0" front and 10.0" rear. I have the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tires. I love them. I'm on my 3rd set. Thanks!

I think I paid $400 for them brand new. I paid $1300 for the exhaust 2 1/2 yrs ago during a group buy. In my opinion, test pipes sound like shit. High-flow cats and the HKS setup was perfect for my tastes.
No. The only thing that will gain you significant power, other than forced induction, is some some kind of piggyback such as the Utec which I'm using.
20k miles with the turbo kit. 86k miles on the car. The kit is known for burning holes through the ac line. The only other problem I had was burning a hole through the lower radiator hose.
I know enough about the VQ, thank you. I bought the HKS exhaust because it looks/sounds great. And just over a year ago, I put a Turbonetics kit on it. Check out my other videos...maybe you will think differently.

The HKS is one of my favorites on a VQ. I had the fast intentions test pipes... but I've been running the Turbonetics single turbo kit now for almost a year.

to be honest they are friggin over priced. and there welds are shit. trust me I had one on my z. Never noticed that the HKS rocks an H Style Y pipe...
Alot more restrictive then running a straight through, or conjoined.
If you want the dual canister style go with the Ark Exhaust. and keep your VQ Tone.

NO the Z has more power because of the intake tube ("Z" tube) that doesnt have the silencer that the G35 has. Do more research. Z = 287hp G = 280hp

HKS makes 3 exhausts. the HKS Legamax for the G35 coupe, the HKS Hi-Power exhaust for the G35 coupe, and an HKS muffler for the G35 sedan.
All the choices you listed are just universal mufflers. So you would still have to have an exhaust shop make you the piping.

It was only the revup motors in 2006...well, not only...but that's mainly when the oil consumption problems came from.
On my 2004 with my Turbonetics kit, I burn maybe 3/4 of a quart every 3000 miles.

They are vinyl overlays from BlueBatmobile. And no, it is the factory Diamond Graphite paint.

how many miles do you have on the turbo kit? is it a low maintence kit?

20k miles with the turbo kit. 86k miles on the car. The kit is known for burning holes through the ac line. The only other problem I had was burning a hole through the lower radiator hose.

I know enough about the VQ, thank you. I bought the HKS exhaust because it looks/sounds great. And just over a year ago, I put a Turbonetics kit on it. Check out my other videos...maybe you will think differently.

As long as a car is properly warmed up and has good, clean oil.....you can rev to what ever you want within that motors safe operating range.

that's 90% of the facts. The remaining 10 being it will eventually cause problems, not to mention unnecessary wear and tear simply because you want to draw attention to your ride. Odds are the people doing this have no class and are most likely only embarrassing themselves.
Anyway...I'm done arguing/responding on this topic though. I was simply stating a fact, that it's bad on the engine.

It's not your car, he took the video to show off the exhaust note, He has a very nice customized 30+ grand car, I'm sure he can take care of whatever happens if something breaks. Whether it's good or not.

haha, Ok kid. We're not talking about a $100g+ car here... most cars nowadays average 25-35g new. Just because he has a G35 doesn't mean he has the money to throw around rebuilding a motor. Stupid fuck... Kill yourself. Kids shouldn't be allowed to sign up on youtube. They put out false information and it just snowballs, making the rest of the world idiotic because they never do the research themselves... they hear about something and take it as the truth. it's actually pretty disturbing.

And what research have you done, assuming I'm a kid I'm sure you'd researched that thoroughly eh? There's a reason the redline is 7+ on those cars, 4,000 RPM is a very safe operating range for any vehicle properly warmed and as new as that. The HKS is one of my favorites on a VQ. I had the fast intentions test pipes... but I've been running the Turbonetics single turbo kit now for almost a year.

Z-tube is just the intake tube from a 350Z. It is just a bit less restrictive, compared to the G35's intake.

Damn!! nice ride you got there! I own an Acura TL 2004 and I always wanted a G35 coupe, they sound great, even stock! I couldn't afford one because of my insurance compagny (4000+$ a year)
