@lilearlful sadly not, but square planned to remake it for the PS2 in 2001, but it was scrapped for some reason. =(

@lilearlful Yeah, it's bad... But I think that's not so bad, because when a videogame is so good as this, how can you remake it without destroying the essence? It's totally impossible. I suppose they don't want to risk too many negative reviews or impressions and massive loss of money and fans (just like happened with FF: The Spirits Within) and they focus on create new and modern videogames. Anyway, if they don't want to do remakes for classic videogames, we'll never know...
