Ohh let's just admit we are cherrypicking data, pick the outputs of several devices and add them together. Are they ignoreing any results that don't fit thier expected results? Or since "altering" the device could include driving the value either up or down does that mean that they are counting both results as valid data?

Also there is no such thing as a mind without a brain, mind is what the brain does.
