while in japan this sweets is like an art and very high in price, in my country this food is usual cake, we are usually eat this in morning and its pretty cheap in here, its only half of a cent, japanese people bring this tradition to my country in 1945 when the colonial period
@xXxMoonLolitaxXx japan is very good at sweets, and you can't even get rice in the US that even tastes 'right' once you try rice in japan, but it is all about customs. Although the US is not so good as japan on those things, there are other things which the US does better, like cheese and bread :)
oh.my.god.Those are unbelievably beautiful! It's not fair I can't get my hands on it here! *swoon*! Do they know just how great they have it over there with all that beautiful food? LOVELY!!!
Hey, who knows where I can buy Japanese (pink0 sweet rice. There may just be sweet rice that was dyed pink, but this girl in my 4th gr class made Jap pink sweet rice n it was soo good n im hungry so I wish I could just have some right now xD
I like the original ("pre-missionaries") egg-free sugar-free and gluten-free recipes of Japanese sweets. They are the healthiest and, to my mind, far better, than the modern ones. I'm trying to find more of those ancient recipes.
I keep watching this over and over, not just cuz Wagashi looks good, but because I love the sound of the first woman's voice. I could listen to her talk all day.
I'm planning to prepare some daifuku with some of my friends and this video just informed me of so many other cool sweets i could try making ! Thanks!
i tasted Diafuku in a japanese restaurant in manhattan, and I thought that it was going to be the best thing in the world...but it was just a major disappointment. It tasted horrible, thats just my opinion tho.
Sure, the quality may not be the best but it is still acceptable :) After all, not all of us have access to Japanese bakeries or confectionary shops but more people have access to East Asian supermarkets. And of course, not everyone has access to East Asian supermarkets. In that case...they can pray for one :) :)

Japan has delectable sweets, and USA has krispy kreme doughnut burgers, and pot brownies

I've always wanted to try this as I'm addicted to sweets which is why I'm going a SWEET COMPETITION on my channel at the moment.
If I could find these to buy or make them good enough I'd do a giveaway for that too! Thanks for the video upload. Yummy.

Wagashi is supposed to be served with Japanese green tea which is bitter. If you just eat the Wagashi, you may find it too sweet.
liliantai 2 years ago
The sweetness was fine, I just wasnt a fan of the beans that was in it.
