To swirl or not to swirl... I've seen so many people swirling whisky, so I made a little experiment. In one glass, I poured some Single Malt and let it rest for a few minutes. Then, I poured the same whisky in a second glass, swirled it and put my nose in both glasses. The result was clear: I got the same amount of flavour from both of them - but only the second one was accompanied by a huge amount of alcool. So if I have the time, I never swirl and if I don't have the time, I never drink whisky
@TheVerySpecialThommy Thats for getting drunk on something cheap ;) whip it down to NOT taste it, single malts are for tasting not necessarily getting drunk, of course Im sure your comment was sarcastic anyway just sayin
I always come back to this video for how to read the tears and legs... I don't know why it's something I can never remember. Thanks for the knowledge.
"I can smell winter berries picked on a wendsday by lefthanded people" LOL!!

Best video on tasting I've seen. Informative and to the point. No fluff.
