  • I don't catch everything Anne says, can someone plz tell me from 2:13 to 2:19 :)

  • @xSmiley97x "Just when my belly is doing its business, I find you wenching with Mistress Seymour."

I hope this helps you! :)

  • @TudorGeekDisneyFreak Thanks! :)

  • This is real life, this isnt a film. People were like that back then, and they are still like that now. Get over it. He's a cheat.

  • Was Anne coming in to tell Henry the baby was kicking? Seems so when she says "just when my belly is doing it's business." so sad

  • @lizziemiss945 shes means that shes pregnant/ her belly is doing its business :)

  • @peacedesertrose OHHHH lol. still very sad scene =(

  • So cute....

  • I honestly loved this moment, Jane was my favorite, I hated Anne...

  • Aww Jane is so cute, she doesn't even know how to kiss properly at first, bless. It was a sweet moment between them whilst it lasted.

  • I think Anne was going through a hard time, thats why she lost the baby. She was in distress, and worried that Henry may tire of her.

I think the love between Anne and Henry was more passionate, but the love between Jane and Henry was more pure.

  • *slow clap* KITTY ITS ABOUT TIME

  • I can't stand that Henry calls Anne "sweetheart"! You've just kissed another woman, and you dare to appease your wife saying shh, sweetheart.. lol henry..

I always hate Henry after that.., poor poor Anne.. she is my favourite.. I also like the 3 Season Jane... and all the queens if I speak true :)

  • @tiukudaa Well Henry was always an ass; I never liked him. He's just really amusing to watch, especially when he throws his adult temper tantrums...

  • La Pauvre :( ...

  • How often do women lose a baby if they see their hubby kissing someone? I'm not denying it can't happen, but dang--what was up with women back then?

  • @cheluzal Well they wore corsets that made their waists shrink to 20 inches ( 25-28 is the average) and people only took baths like once every 3 months or so back then (if i remember correctly it was because they thought it was unhealthy to wash away the natural body oils). So combined with jacking up your body chemistry, a total lack of hygiene, and a lot of stress it's not overly surprising

  • @k10edd Your points are valid but I can't buy them as a reason to miscarry upon seeing your hubby kiss a woman.

And fainting....no one hardly faints anymore but women dropped like flies, even after the corset disappeared.

I'm a woman, but dude--where were the coping skills? Surely, we just didn't develop inner strength recently?

  • @cheluzal It would have been more crucial in Anne's case since it also had to do with power. Henry's wandering affection was a sign that she was losing power, of which she only had because of Henry's sole affection for her in the first place. It could basically signify her downfall. Added to the fact that she's portrayed as a paranoid woman in The Tudors.

  • Anne Boleyn's not my favourite queen, however she has my love when she gives him a good smack at 2:27

  • Man Henry's a down right sh**! Poor Anne, I feel so bad for

  • poor Anne

  • I just hate the fact that after Henry and Anne married, she gives birth to Elizabeth..he's disappointed. She has a miscarriage, he's pist again and he literally causes the stillborn with his tongue tied business with Jane. He then blames Anne for losing his son??? They could've always concieved more. Yet he rather call Anne a witch and cut her head off for adultery.

  • @KendraWilk

Now not to sound cruel but in reality Anne stillborned when Henry fell of his horse during the jousting match because she worried for him.

Also Jane isn't exactly one to blame, though she can't be said to fully innocent, as when Henry set his sight on a woman he always got them. Anne was the same.

If you were to compare Anne and Jane. Jane is much better. Jane never wished for the death of her predecessor's, she ensured the were well treated also Jane is much kinder than Anne

  • @ploristaozai I 100% agree with you!

  • @ploristaozai It's not that she exactly had a choice. She couldn't really refuse him... Anne is that way because her father's a power freak and made her that way, I think. She is much better but I can't completely hate Anne...

  • @ploristaozai Anne donated more money to the poor than any of Henry's wives. She also sewed shirts for the poor herself while she and Henry went on progress. As for the part about Jane not wishing death on her predecessor, that may be disputed. According to the historian David Starkey, Jane was basically counting down the days until Anne's execution and was coached by Sir Nicholas Carew to draw Henry's attention away from Anne onto herself. Daughters just political pawns for their families.

  • @KendraWilk There was more of a scientific basis why Henry and Anne would not have any more surviving children. Basically something in Henry and Anne's genetic information wasn't compatible, and it dictated that after their first-born child, all the children that come after would be stillborn. Of course, they didn't know it back then, but they still wouldn't have produced more children, so Henry would have gotten rid of her anyway after a while.

  • i didnt get to watch the show... but um did henrey stop anne, well it looked like she was pregnant while he was holding her stomach. is that why he stopped her from getting mad?

  • @destinysutopia wel yeah but her baby died :S

  • I like both Jane and Anne (yes, it's possible!) but Jane is sooooo lucky that wasn't me opening that door! With my temper, I would've yanked out her hair before Henry could hold me back! Poor Anne; she freaked out because she loved him, although God knows how she could love such a selfish man...

  • The biggest victim of this man was hemself, what he became of himself. The Ladys who married him did in full well knowing (specially after anne boleyn) that to do so was as good as placing their heads on the choping block. And as for Anne herself, I am one of the ppl who doubt her good heartedness after all it would take someone quite cunning to throw Katherine of her crown as she was a good loyal wife who did nothing wrong other than marry twice she had no clue of what was to become

  • haaaaaah he drive me crazy! <3 <3

  • The proof that there was a religious motive behind it is that Henry and Anne’s marriage was declared invalid a few days before her execution, so it is uncertain how she could be guilty of infidelity to the King. Jane Seymour did not live long enough to piss Henry off and dying after child birth was the ultimate sacrifice to give Henry his male heir.

  • By the time Henry was ready to be rid of Anne poor Anne was used as a political and religious pawn because she did not follow the catholic faith. She was accused of horrible and untrue things and it is now believed the charges and evidence was forged in order to get Henry what he wanted. The fact that infidelity in a royal marriage amounted to treason and was punishable by death was sheer bad luck for Anne.

  • Either way, when he wanted to marry Anne, Henry remembered the papal opposition and tried to use their own argument against them. There was a new pope by then who was still influenced by Spain and he refused to reverse it. It was all political when it came to what they would and wouldn’t grant it seems. Spain wanted Katherine at Henry’s side, they probably thought she could influence him. But she after one debacle kept out of politics and supported Henry and England.

  • He sought a papal dispensation and based on letters from Katherine and her chaperon who claimed her marriage to Arthur wasn’t consummated the dispensation was granted and Henry VIII and Katherine were married. Henry VIII first made enquiries about having his marriage annulled long before he met Anne Boleyn. He was obviously not serious at the time. It's believed that the marriage was in trouble due to an affair of Henry's.

  • But the Pope and the Archbishop at the time opposed the betrothal on the basis that she had been married to Henry’s brother. Katherine at that point wanted to return home because Henry VII kept her in abject poverty and basically stole her income as Princess of Wales. At one point Henry VII got annoyed with Spain and ended the betrothal. It didn’t mean much though because he died soon after and Henry VIII came to the throne. He got engaged to Katherine despite the opposition.

  • This series fasctinated me so much I started to do research. For all the proclamations of love for Jane, ANNE was the only one of his lovers and wives he wrote love letters to, and he hated to write letters. I also find it fascinating that Catherine of Aragon was married to a robust Prince Arthur for 6months but claimed the marriage was never consumated. He died of sweating sickness. Henry VII betrothed her to Henry VIII because he was a greedy old cuss and wanted to retain her dowry.

  • Now I know why Elizabeth was such a strong ruler!

  • Those were rought times to be a woman.

  • Well men are idiots sometimes aren't they!

  • I think that Natalie and Jonathon would be a really sexy couple and great parents together

  • wow he is so sweet when he wants to be.. i felt so bad for anne but what can she do.. im guessin she was pregnant! poor jane. its not like she refuse the king becuz he has sum major power.. she was probably scared.. is he holding anne's stomach for the baby's sake? poooooorrrrrr anne

  • @HEIRLESSful I'm guessing this is one of the pregnancies she miscarried a boy. She blammed the miscarriage on Henry and the stress over his jousting accident. I could be wrong though. I think that is the accident that caused him problems in later life too. He could no longer be as active and in his mid 40s he started to get fat..

  • a summary of the tudor dynasty: they all hated eachother. They cut off eachother's heads...everyone wanted power and once they got it, they abused it...there...history lesson over

  • Henry and Anne were definately two of a kind. Both of them used people. They reaped the rewards of their vanity. So ha.

  • this scene made me feel so bad. by the end of season 2 i found henry to be despicable.

  • oooooooohmygod he's sexy!

I have always been fascinated with the tudor dynasty.

Even before this show came out.

    Very interesting

  • i love the dresses the women wore them days! Jonathan Rhys Meyers is gorgeous!

  • me too!!!

  • Why the heck is he pressing so hardly on her bulge?? this is why she lost the baby and because he upset her so much...

  • because the actress didnt wanted to make nude scenes..for me Anabelle was amazing. One of the best really.only she could translate the purity of spirit like Jane was.

for me Anabelle was simply perfect.

  • end of it i dont think henry love anyone of the ladies, he just love the sex only...;D

  • that or he just wanted a son

  • As opposed to what Jane did?

If you look down on Anne for seducing an already married man and throwing down a Queen, then you have to look down on Jane as well. Anne and Jane were in the same situation, they're as bad or as good as each other. Personally, I admire both..

  • @Flutertooter9593

Exactly!!! Henry's marriage with COA was over....If he didn't divorce Catherine for Anne he would it for someone else...

  • thanks!! I'm a big historical buff like that.....since I love the show..and related to one of them I might as well have some knowledge about them! Anne would have had that baby if Lady Jane didn't get in the way..BUT I will say this Jane was good to both Elizabeth and Mary and got them restored back to the throne. I like her for that!

  • and that Anne did try to get Mary reconciled with Henry but Mary herself denied it. Mary was a good queen except the grudge against the Protestants.

  • yes I know....To be honest if I were Mary I would do the same...I couldn't accept Anne as queen......

  • Thing is: he never expected her to find out

  • i agree duttygyal

  • maybe x)

  • You mean maybe because it hasn't been proven that she did....

Until it is proven she did, she will be known as a victim of henry VIII

  • agreed, Natalie Dormer was PERFECT as Anne, she had so much spirit...

  • He deserved that punch!

  • No he didnt. He deserved a hell of alot more than that! :-D

  • I think Henry was a total womanizer and he treated his wives awfully. BUT I think out of all 6 wives I do think he loved and respected Jane the most. From countless sources it's been impleid that Anne was rather loud and fiesty. Jane was was more calmer she knew how to pick her battles and she seemed liek a gooid person I mean she brought Mary back to court. Plus he's buried nxt to Jane. He even called her his true wife and when she died he mourned for her for i think 3 months or something.

  • the difference was Jane really didn't have an education like Anne which had alot to do with their personality.

  • I agree, Jane wasnt stupid she just wasnt educated - not her fault. The only well educated wives were Katharie Parr Anne Boleyn and Catalina of Aragon(as a Royal Infanta she got the best education out of all the wives)

  • Anne was clever and well educated, she knew how to navigate court......besides I really really liked Natalie Dormer

  • Great vid, sad but thanks for uploading!

  • Anne miscarried just because of this momentt when Henry kisses Jane. But Jane was very lucky.

  • Very lucky? After gave birth to Edward, she dies!!

  • True, but it could have been A LOT worse. She could have followed in Anne's or Katherine Howard's steps and been beheaded...though I must admit, I can hardly imagine sweet, meek Jane as the type to be beheaded.

  • It's just a movie.. But they are REALLY good actors

  • You know I really don't understand the mentality of women in that age. If you were brought up catholic and in the church, learning the bible, and everyone say's jane was a good girl, easily lead by her family. But even so isnt there a small part your intelligance telling you not to kiss a man who has a pregnant wife, which you care for. King or no king!!

  • agreed

  • ...i hate this part...she is a bitch...and i hate him too for doing this to anne...on my opinion she really loved him above everything...and she never diserved to die...

  • I'm agree on Anne's aspect, but you forget that Henry always have a lot of infidileties with a lot of woman, since servants and prostitutes... And I have a question to everyone: did Henry really be unfaith to Jane??

  • He kissed her because he loved her !

His words, the real Henry the VIII, said when he gave instructions for his burial to be buried next to Jane, because he had married Catherine for duty, Anne for Lust and sex but he had married Jane for her kind heart and he loved her. Just a little fact for you, but to be honest, Henry was a twat really and I agree his timing on this kiss was shit! the moron! poor girls.

  • He married Katherine somewhat out of duty, more of it was that he was madly in love with her. Henry desired Katherine and had to wait until his father passed to marry her.

  • thanks for sharing hun!

  • Damn Henry he cause Anne Miscarrige stress jerk. He was married but i guess that didn't stop him

  • No it never stopped him. When Catherine discovered he was having an affair with Elizabeth FitzWalter when she was pregnant she shouted at him a LOT, and continued to be angry at him for like a week, understadably of course, she'd just found out her husband was having an affair! And Henry shouted at her, and saw HIMSELF as the injured party!

  • oH i so wish i was jane!! he is soo HOT!!!!
