I have one question though, for the ilumination did you use a regular bulb? In fact, which materials did u use for that? I looking forward to do the same so is it possible to contact you in some way further on?
Greetings and once again congrats for the project from Guatemala
@rodmoncada Thanks Im glad you discovered the awesomeness that is LinuxMCE! Yeah had to discover that for myself but you have to use incandescent light bulbs (Regular bulbs). To bad cause I try to be as energy efficient as possible. You cant use flourecent bulbs as all they do is flicker when turning them on and off on a dimmer switch. Message me your email address and I will send you a list of what I used. That goes for anybody watching my vids!
@Roam112 So it is you who taped that video??? Awesome, really, though i am also interested in the hardware list you used, all of them...
I did not look furthere here to see if it is there already, what makes it easier i think, but if not, the best way to put in available is here. Not that i am not willing to give a email adres to you, but my knowledge of youtube is to low, only things i'm interested in are.
Would it work for more than two media directors? And if you have a dual-tuner does that mean that you can only watch two different channels simultaneously?
@zinadork Actually didnt spend all that much as the software alone does all the work which is great. About $400 for the core PC @ Newegg, Switch was like $28 @ Newegg, Laptop I already had and Network CAT5E like 39 cents a foot at your local hardware store. The trick is finding the right deals online at the right time!
you show that it is possible to watch two different videos on two different media directors. Is it also possible to watch two different TV-shows at the same time on different media directors? Very Cool System! Thanks for your Video. Would like to see more from your LMCE-System :-)!
@michbeck666 Yes watchin the same or different videos on 2 different media directors is very possible. In fact, that is one of the OS's main features, however, I havent yet to try MythTV setup yet so not sure with the simulatious TV shows but I have also been curious of that exact question. I will let you know when I try it.
Oh my GOD man! This is too dope! Man keep me updated damn!

@Roam112 There are lots of dimmable fluorescent lights...
You just need to have a trailing edge dimmer (also C) instead of just resistive.
For LED you'll need someway to produce PWM output from Z-Wave or DMX of some kind, then just add a 12V amplifier or current source for power LEDs.
Nice demo BTW!
