Of course it is , it was written just to be as attractive & simple as many members of ESC juries possible could find it catchy at the moment and give vote their votes to sweden ( which was what happened at last voting country ) , but that does not make of a lesser song a masterpiece or of a medium-paced ordinary tune in the usual key of D major ( usual x all soft rock or medium pop songs of that age ) a great music !

Chromatically this song fails and to be fair I can see nothing but the Stig Andersson's ability in making his job in it : one simple musical phrase DE, DA, C#G, BA in the ordinary soft rock -pop tune + a chord progression always in D key , a refrain suiting the same style and harmonic score , a copy&paste bridge ..et voilà !

Honestly not only this cheap song got gifted of victory on ESC , but also it represents the point of no-return x this pop band : if it had been x this ordinary schlager
