  • I have like split ends all over my head, i have dyed my hair so many times and i just bleached my hair for the second time. I have been straightening my hair for ever and am just now starting to use heat protectin(?) so do i just do the mayo thing? cause i do not want to cut it...haha please respond

  • Totally love your video. You give so much information, I can't wait for your next video.

  • hello.. would this treatment work for my hair as its basically falling out due to over dying and using clip in extensions.. it is soo thin and i used to have such thick hair.. pleaaseee help :(

  • Wicked thanks for making this vid hun :D your hair looks gorge too! xxx

  • oh my god just saying that stretchy feeling you had and how its just like scarily bad, shedding way to much and I currently have red hair and oh my gosh I needed this video it has saved my hair

  • What is you have dry hair? Will using the bed head shampoo and washing your hair help it? Or make it worse?

  • great video,

  • Thank you for the advice! I am repairing my platinum blond hair right now too, your hair looks so shiny, pretty and strong! Gives me hope!

  • Does anyone else think that she looks like a young jessie j?

  • where were you before I ruined my hair! :( very helpful, beautiful... stick around

  • Plz reply how long did it take for your hair to fully recover?does mayonnaise help with insanely dry hair?

  • Love your video!! & your accent :D

  • will any type of mayo work?????????????

  • do you have to make the mayonnaise yourself or is mayo from the grocery store good enough?

  • thank you so much for this video!

  • Oh being able to stretch the hair.. How i know all to well how that is! Thats what having blue/pink/purple/red hair!

  • Eggs work great, as good for me as a protein conditioning from the store but they cost very little. Castor oil and coconut oil are also very good to use a few times a week as leave-in conditioners or pre-washes.

  • thanks alot your video really helpfull!

  • After washing the mayonnaise do you use the shampoo and conditioner?

  • so you did not cut your hair ? because I'm going through this right now and considering cutting my hair

  • @Lisettex06 If you cut your hair, it will make it worse.

  • OMG!!!! She looks excactly like Jessi J except with brown hair that's coolio

  • Wow thanks :)

  • Where did you buy the pills?

  • @RoseMatiasss I bought mine from Holland & Barrett, but you can pick things like that up from health stores :)

  • I'm in the process of repairing my hair also. I used to have gorgeous long brown hair until I ruined it by getting highlights and straightening it too much. It now goes a little bit past my shoulders but it is still very dry and breaks easily. Would you recommend using Main n' tail shampoo? I was told it was very good for hair and that it made it grow faster.

  • @dancn13 i have heard really good things about the mane'n'tail shampoo, but i've never tried it myself - i would give it a shot if you've heard good things! up your intake of silica if your hair still breaks very easily, and definitely do lots of deep conditioning regularly :)

  • loved this video, thanks for all the tips! Straight to the point aswell :) thanks!

  • Wow, this is the first video and piece of advice for that matter that has actually given me some great ideas. My hair is completely damaged and brittle because of the dying, straightening and blow drying that I put it thorough, not to mention the amount of conditioners that I use that contain sillicone. I really hope that your tips work, but your advice and the other comments have given me hope. I have been so upset about my hair for so long, and hopefuuly now it will change. Thanks a lot! :D

  • @sonicboomkiralee thank you so much. to be fair, everybody's hair is different because of their DNA, but the things that I talk about in this video really do seem to work wonders :)

  • My hair is absolutely terrible & i need more help! :( i went out and bought mayo like recommended but im jc is tresemme heat tamer spray good enough for flat iron & dryer? :) i dont hvae very much money so im trying to keep it cheap. PLEASE RESPOND

  • @Kailsrocks the tresemme heat tamer is actually what i use, and it does work really well :)

  • Hey Livie! I love your videos so much. I just have to ask.. Do you have any pictures of your hair when it was in the most bad condition? :) I'm curious! My hair is very damaged now too..

  • @sharken911 my oldest videos, where i had super short blonde hair, is when it was in it's worst condition. i'd already cut off over 6 inches of damage, but it still took a lot of time, perseverance and tears to get it to the stage that it's at today :)

  • You were a HUGE help!!!!

  • THANK YOU!!!! I had very long beautiful brown hair. And I went blonde and even though I loooooooved being blonde I payed the ultimate price and I had to be a short hair girl :( But your vid will help me out in the long run! -3

  • i'm a natural blonde with frizzy curly hair but i've dyed it dark brown for about 2 years and about a month and a half ago, i got it lightened to a caramel colour and my hair still felt pretty soft (: but i work at a salon and they needed to use me as a tester for a chemical straightening to see how it would work on frizzy hair. at the start it was so soft, shiny and really healthy because i didn't need to straighten it as much, but now it has gone frizzy again and it feels like straw. that tot

  • What are the exact products you used ,and how long did it take for your hair to grow/get healthier? You are very pretty.:)

  • I've dyed my hair one to many times as well. When I wet my hair, it feels like corn hair or bubble gum. I can stretch it and it would rip apart. What would you recommend for my hair?

  • I LOVE your straight fringe. Marry me <3

  • Hi you are really pretty and really helpful thank you!! Just one question where did you buy the TIGI Bedhead Oatmeal and Honey Treatment Shampoo and Conditioner, i want to try it. please help!!

  • liviesays - Last night I tried to chemically straighten my hair, it started breaking off and coming out in clumps, I honestly will admit that I cried and I never thought I would cry over my hair I'm so relieved to have found this video and can't wait to start repairing my hair thank you sooooo much <3

  • aww my hair is so damaged right now :(

  • hey liviiee =).. listen i've been trying to follow ur procedur but i cant find the oatmeal and honey shampoo anywere!!! so can u or anybody please tell me were to get the shampoo and conditioner???

    thaxx

  • @eldiablo2150 you can only get it on ebay, as its been discontinued. tbh dont bother its not worth it, my hair is really brittle from dying and chemically straightening, and it feels stripped from this shampoo.

  • my hair is soo thin after all the staff i've had done to it. It fells a lot.

What would you recomend, help, please.

  • can you tell me exactly how i cure it? my hair was damaged by hair dyin and bleach please help me....

  • Thanks this really helped me :)

  • Is Kerastase chroma thermique protecting milk only for dyed hair?

  • Can you get these products in America ?

  • Wicked Video! May be a silly question, but did you make your own mayo, or can you use helmans? x

  • Moroccan Oil actually absorbs straight into the hair folical. It does not sit on the outside shaft of the hair unlike silicon. Make sure the Moroccan oil is the real thing. The cheap and nasty ones may be good for money but they sit on the outside and as you said can actually fry your hair like chicken in a pan. The real deal is fine to put on through wet hair before you blow dry as it just instant ally is absorbed into you hair folical,

  • really useful thanks

  • i have dry and frizzy hair.. do you think the shampoo and conditioner u mentioned will help me.. i am very desperate.. please help me

  • @149deedee well if it helped her hair from dead and dry, I am sure it will!

  • THANK YOU LIVIE!!! my hair loves youuu <3

  • my problem is nothing that is on the market to fix hair goes deep in to penetrate my hair.even shampooing and conditioner it seems to sit on my hair not go into it .I am so frustrated i cry

  • SO extra virgin olive oil, mayo ,tresemme and i will get repaired hair .My hair is so bad it brakes, falls out

  • I SWEAR ON THIS VIDEO WITH MY LIFE, AND MY HAIR THANKS YOU A MILLION TIMES OVER :')

Seriously, I have waist length hair and my idiot friend bleached my hair and she blow dryed it immediately after, leaving my hair dry, crimpy, frizzy, big, damaged, and just plain disgusting. It's been almost a month and my hair is almost completely back to normal because of your video, the mayonnaise is A LIFE SAVER. Thank you so much, I thought I was gonna have to cut off my hair that I worked so hard to grow

  • I've just dyed my hair 10 times this week (and bleach!!) And used toners. Only the very ends are noticeably dry/damaged. I always get told at the salon how healthy/soft my hair is - when not dyed 10x obv.(lucky, much!) But this week I have done 3 hair masks (conditioner in a pot w/ clingfilm+towel) Mayo once. Aussie 3min x2 and leave-in cond. twice and it's still shiny! Gonan get the ends trimmed. But thanks you for the mayo tip - I didn't know it was good for hair!!! Extra glossy :D xx

  • Oh my Gosh. Thank you so much for doing this, I LOVE YOU.

  • This is a video sent from God! I bleach my hair as well, for almost a year now, so this really spoke to me! I want to grow out my natural hair color and embrace it again because I really can't stand the way my hair feels :( I'm going to take your advice and hopefully get the same results!! Thank you so much for posting this! -Jamie

  • i am totally gonna try the mayo in the hair! im excited for the results :)

  • im confused you use mayo and leave it in all night long? pl help me,thanks(:

  • do you add the mayonaise to wet hair or dry :)?

  • @meganlewis23 i apply it to dry hair :)

  • Oh my god! Thank you so much, this reall helped

me alot! Because my hair was so damaged, i bleached it then a week later i had a permanent, and it completely fried my hair, it was horrid, Thank you so much for this video, it really helped me.

  • @BlackVeilBridesJC i'm so glad you found it helpful! i wish somebody had helped me when my hair was seriously damaged! :)

  • Thankyou so much for this video, it helped a lot, but did you leave the mayonnaise in your hair overnight? How did you not get all over your pillow?Could I just leave it in my hair for an our and was it out? Thanks. (:

  • @PumpedUpKickks it doesn't really matter how long you leave it on for, it still does the trick :)

  • @PumpedUpKickks I lay a towel out on my pillow and sleep that way or you can use a pillow or pillow case you don't care too much about and wash it after you use it so it doesnt smell

  • It is safe to use extra virgin olive oil on the roots of my hair n down?

  • @Athecubus pantene shampoo and conditioner is extremely bad for your hair, but the tresemmé naturals range is fantastic! and using extra virgin olive oil is really good for your hair, don't worry about it! :)

  • Does Pantene shampoos and conditioner works or Tresemme shampoo and conditioner works?

  • My hair is like how you described right now..

  • My hair t is dry, it keeps breaking (I have like a bazillion different "layers" because it just keeps breaking and breaking) and keeps falling out. Itt was" fine" for the many many (10) years that I have been dying it. But as you said, I dyed it once too many. Plus I have washed and straigthened it every day for about 6-7 year. Your video has really motivated me to stop doing so much damage to it and just let it be.

    _Thank_you_so_much_

Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!

  • This was the best video ever! Thank you so much! (and yes I'm going through a "damaged hair OMG what to do" phase right now.....)

  • How long did it take for your hair to stop being stretchy?! I bleached the shit out of my hair yesterday and left it in too long... Now it's breaking off and stretchy. :'( I LOVE MY HAIR! I don't want it breaking off like it is! :'(

  • I love your hair and this video was very helpful. except what do we do with the mayo exactly?

  • When you said you put Mayo in your hair what do you mean?

Was your hair wet then did you apply mayo?

or did you apply it when it was dry??

and I'm assuming you covered your hair in plastic or something over night?

help please >.< lol i'm freaking out cuz my hair is stretchy!

  • Love ur acsent gonna try maynaise how long to I leave it in

  • Omg!!!!!! You SAVED my HAIR!!!!!!! Thank you sooooooooooo much!!

  • In this video, is your hair straightened or blowdried or just naturally that straight? [:

  • @MidniteL0V3 it's actually naturally straight! i guess when your hair gets to a good condition, whatever hair type you have really comes through - when it was bleached, it was pretty wavy.. now it's lovely and straight! hurray!

  • THIS VIDEO SAVED MY HAIR. oh my god, thank you so much!

  • livieeeee please answer me !!!!

  • Hi! Great tutorial :) Just one question, I have greasy hair. And I told my mom about the mayonnaise treatment and she told me it wouldnt work for me because I have greasy hair and the mayonnaise would make it more greasier. Is that true?

  • @Sittingonacornflakee hi lovely :) thank you! i have greasy hair too, and it worked wonders for me. i only applied it to the mid lengths and ends of my hair, avoided the roots! :) xxx

  • @liviesays THANK you! :)

  • I LOVE YOUR HAIR GIRL I LOVE THE CLORS YOU HAVE!!!!

  • I love this video sooo much! you are amazing! my hair was completely and honestly Horrifying! but thanks to your tips....Its amazingly and tremendously better! THANK YOU!

  • i had a longer comment written out about how much better this video made me feel after destroying my hair a few days ago. my sister basically say me down and said "watch this video until you feel better." anyway, i'm going to start doing everything you've said here, but i have a few questions. one: do i put the mayonnaise on with my hair wet or dry? two: WHERE can i find the TIGI shampoo and the kerastase? i've been all over and can't find them. should i just do it online? thank you so much. <3

  • @godzillaohno *sat

  • Hello,Should I just put Mayonnaise in my hair from the kitchen???????/

  • Thank you so much!! You've helped me a lot! :)

  • Thank you so much this was very helpful and I will be keeping in touch with the results of my own hair. I am too broke to do the silica or get the exact products right now but I do have F.A.S.T which I think was supposed to be good for your hair. I have had the BedHead oatmeal stuff before and it is fantastic! I don't suppose it matters which mayonaise I use?

  • what if I can't stand mayonnaise LOL!! I gag at the tiniest whiff haha. Thank god for Live Clean products. And other great deep conditioners.

  • Mayonnaise here i come!!!!

  • hi livie! I'm currently writing to you with mayonnaise in my hair lol. My hair isnt that bad, however I'm finding that everytime I shower, alot of my hair is coming out, I'm not sure if its damaged or somethings wrong but everytime i run my hand threw it, atleast 5 strands come out, I have a purple streak in my hair, its usually dark brown so i have to bleach this streak every so often, i also have a problem with not putting heat on my hair, because im so used to curling it at this point.HELP!

  • btw I know what you mean by stretching your hair. My hair stretches DX

  • Where can you find the Tresemme sprays? The only one I can find is the Heat Tamer.

  • OMG Thank you! My natural colour is dark brown, and I dyed it red with live XXL for about 2 years, however that isn't what killed my hair, it's what I did after, just basically I was dying/bleaching my hair at least once a month. Anyway now my hair is black again, and I want to go back to red, which means I am going to have to bleach it to at least light brown/orange, so I need to get the condition back. I'm so glad to find an english vid, because I can't find any american products here! x

  • I have chemically died white hair, that's been toned a grey/silver colour. It's not exactly damaged, but as Hellmann's Mayonaise is on offer at the local shop! I'm going to stock up, to prevent future damage. Thanks for the tips.

  • Ive never dyed my hair but my hair has alot of split ends and my hair is just dry and it never looks shiny or soft and it just looks and feels unhealthy but im trying to groe it out as well so will this help ?

  • Omg! so helpful thx! i have natural dark brown almost black hair and i decided to dye it bright red. I loved my bright red hair a lot but maintainance was affecting both my wallet and hair so i went back to a brown. My hair is now dry and damaged & kind of brassy. I have and urge to dye it back to red because i loved it but i need to take care of my hair first ahh! Any more helpful ideas plz do tell to fix damaged hair caused by bleaching/dying!!! Thx<3

  • I am so grateful for finding this one video out of them all. You actually know what your talking about unlike so many others. Thank you so much for making this video!(:

HELP???

  • @therandomemos aphogee 2 step protein treatment, you can get it at sallys. ITS THE SHIT! except dont buy the moisturiser, instead use cholesterol cream.

  • i dyed my hair about year ago for the first time, i went for blonde highlights and i really regret it :( i used to have nice, long shiny hair. now its really dry and damaged. i dont use a straightener or dont even blow dry it anymore, i spent so much money on conditioners and treatments for my hair and nothing seems to work for me :( :( im going to try the mayonaise thing tonight. if it doesnt work, i give up. and will have to cut my long hair off. :'(

  • oh my this video is awesome. i am so goone go and put mayo in my hair right now and wash it out later. ive been pretty much addicted to healthy hair lately and tried all different things and the mayo thing sounds good too!!!

  • I use Morrocanoil and it really helped my hair massively! Did do it before straightening and on damp hair before drying! Maybe it just depends on your hair?

I've heard about the mayonnaise thing loads of times so I think i'm definately going to give it a go... but do you put it on dry hair or just washed hair, then wash it out in the morning??

  • Thank-you SO much!

TIme to slap on some Mayo! :)

  • You are amazing! I had that problem too and I thought I had to just cut it off, so I did :( but I still have a few damaged areas and now I know how to fix them. Thanks so much!!!

  • My english is kinda bad so I didn't really get the mayonnaise part

Should I put it on dry hair and sleep that way , then wash it off in the morning or...?

By the way, my hair is not straight naturally and its not even curly..it looks pretty fried so I must straighten it like every second of third day

maybe you could do a video on heatless hairstyles

    Good video I subscribed :**

  • I'm going out and buying every single thing you listed because your hair is fabulous. Oh, i love your accent, too :]

  • ok quick question my hair is major damaged i bleached it too much and straightened it too much so i decided to go natural and my hair is wavy and frizzy so i scrunch it i heard gel is damaging to your hair too is that true?

my hair is falling out from iron deficiency (i used to eat like, 1 slice of toast in a whole day) and i am already taking many supplements for it. but i'll take your advice on the silicone-free and low sulfate shampoos

  • Hi guys! I have posted some good products for damaged hair on my blog. Search for "sinem's little secrets" on google! I have tried and found out the best products for hair and skin.

  • I've dyed my hair like 5 times, and bleached it once. Plus i straighten it alot BECAUSE it's so bad. I have naturally thick hair, and it's really hard to take care of. But my hair is very damaged, and i needed this, I'm definatly going to try these(:

  • I have alot of split ends, especially my eyebrow length layers. I want to grow out my layers, but should I cut the all of the split ends off before I make my hair healthy?

  • I went to Boots today and saw that they have a new Naturals Tresemme shampoo and conditioner. You can get a nourishing moisture shampoo and conditioner or a natural smooth shampoo and conditioner. I got the nourishing moisture, and the conditioner says that it's SILICONE FREE, and the shampoo is LOWER SULPHATES. It's quite cheap to buy the shampoo and conditioner as it's on offer so I think it's worth trying it. I haven't tried it yet but it's new. :)

  • Do you know where to buy some of the shampoos from? Thanks :)

  • @TashaRose08 i bought mine from HQhair.com! xo

  • THANKYOU! It's great to see someone that has experienced things like this. My hair is basically fried from straighteners that I used everyday for like 3 years, but I've never dyed it. My hair is terrible so I'm definitely going to try these methods! I remember my dad putting mayonnaise for my hair when I had nits when I was little. I don't know why! :)

  • Wow you really know what you're talking sbout .n__n.
