the easiest way to serve fast is using ur loft sticks. to toss, move ur right stick to the back, and to hit, trigger the right stick at the right time. With Roddick, using this method i usually get about 130-140mph

I see many wondering why the service is so slow; by now u maybe figured out how 2 serve, if not, here u go, for XBOX360 Ctrller:

Keep A/B or X pushed, & after a short time, start pushing also RT or LT; then release the (RT or LT), &soon release the initial button (A/B/X).

It's possible & easy to place a LOT of aces in a match; but u need 2 find the right timing between the steps above.

U may also give more angle with the analog knob, but not necessary, as u can ace right in the center

probably top spn seems real; more than Virtua Tennis; but Virtua is funnier, cause ball don't be out during the rally and you can play long points.......

Virtua better for those who don't know how tennis plays.. top spin in the beginning you will find it difficult specially at Serve and Risk Shots but with a lot of practice you will find it very interesting.

the problems with top spin 3 is :

- players don't move well at all.

- wimbledon championships is not available :(

It's a great game. I've got it on the 360 and found it a bit difficult and frustrating at first, but after you've played a few games and got XP's to boost yourself up in certain area's, it's brilliant! (and i'm not a big fan of sports games and certainly not tennis).. Great game!

gojipoj, i think because of all the critisism from fans about the game not having enough players, or high ranked/famous players, the creators put a link on the games page where fans could write suggestions to players which could be downloaded on live. Lets just hope they put out downloadable players on live, including Sampras and Agassi, but also Djokovic and Nadal (whats the deal with no Nadal on the game, only on ps3???)

It will be online, i doubt about more downloadable players. In Smash Court you will be able to hit it out and into the net e.t.c and be able to challenge points that look close. This does look slow but probably because the people playing are rubbish. I think this will be a good game but with Nadal only on PS3 and the lack of decent players i think i will buy Smash court.

I like how they added that little pre-game warm up bit. The player animations look really sick. The actual gameplay though... I strongly dislike how the player's strokes are once again random and/or unfit. But even worse, it looks like they HELLA slowed this down! Topspsin 2 was already realistic enough - they didn't need to dumb it down this much. I hope it's just the players, 'cause that's bad if not. I bet it's the Wii's fault. They made it too much like wii tennis.
