i was disappointed with this DVD, i thought that it would be great -a traditional dressed Il Barbiere but i hated the audience intrusion during the overture-i mean showing late people going to their seats. Tha tenor seemed to shout his way through most of it which was a shame. Apart from the tenor i enjoyed it but on the box it says that it is back to a funny il barbiere, well i did not laugh and i have seen many a funny il barbiere. Avoid unless you really want it.
