What video software did you use to make this video? I've been wanting to use multiple clips running at the same time but not sure what software will let me do it. I have a contour HD but def looking to upgrade to the +

@blingblingbe Well I use Final Cut 7, but you should go ahead and try Final Cut X.. I know I'll have to make the switch at some point also. It a very simple program and you can do most things I can do with the much more complicated FCP 7.

@TehNoobzPwner Sorry we don't carry that particular camera and i believe it only shoots up to 720p. The ROAM shoots in 1080p so it would be an unfair comparison.

@mpdog100 Well i probably should have set the white balance.. Just wanted to give it the same treatment as the other cameras out of the box. You can totally dial in the settings on the + though. Check out the video we have called Road Trip, it shows the true capabilities of the plus.

I think my GPS cam had better image colour than my upgraded +. Anything i can do to make the colours better? Maybe a setting?

@BadassRetard Well, when you want to slow down your footage it make it very crisp in 60fps. But you can still slow it down to 60% in 30fps and the quality is still quite decent. All depend how smooth you need your slow mo:)

The white balance is fully adjustable on the +. Did you guys fix that before you started shooting?

I get the feeling we are very close to receiving a crazy camera that is perfect in so many ways. But until then, I'm going to avoid the +, that color didn't look good with the good ways the video showed the comparison. I don't need one right now, so I'll just wait until the next version...

The Contour ROAM looks great, i think this made my mind up. I was going to get the + but most of the features it has on top of the ROAM are ones I wouldn't use.

I'm still so happy with my GoPro's and VIO HD. :-)

From the looks of it, the Contour Plus seems to have some saturation or coloring issues, and indeed, the Roam seems to be a good candidate.

But then once you go GoPro (or VIO) you would never go back.

Contour blows chuncks big time, in my book.

Next to their countless letdowns of their customers.

Kudos for PointOfViewCameras taking the efforts every time to share their comparative recordings, allowing us mortals to make up our own minds.
