the game was not made to look better on a particular console. when they created the game it was used with the same engine put when it was time to put it on disks they just used different coding
ive had an xbox (original) since they first came out and spilled coke on it and kicked it loads of times when ive got annoyed it never broke or overheated or anything, so unless when bill gates sold microsoft everything got a downgrade to crap i don't see why my xbox 360 should break either i preordered one had it for about a year never had red ring or anything so i really can't see a problem if mine can be fine then people who are getting rrod must be taking chainsaws to theirs or something

By the graphics the PS3 and 360 aren't really differents but in the stability of the processors when they're working a lot the PS3 is in advantage with his architecture. (Example - lot of explosions, AI, bullets, damages et cetera and all the rest I can't tell you all you won't follow me)

The video shows better TECHNICAL details on Xbox 360, slightly better shading, texture filters, etc. All you can change with settings is contrast, colors, and stuff in between - which goes for both systems.

Super White, as far as I know a mere HDMI setting. It will not revolutionize the image, simply scale better against a certain monitor type. Just like all the HDMI color settings on the Xbox 360. Which kind of eliminated your whole... point.

For Orange Box it's a obvious PC-oriented production that should have remained that way since much of the glory of Valve is the speed of their updates even with a finished game.
Plus... Half Life (2) with a controller feels kind of handicaped on the PC too.
As for Call of Duty 4 it looks better on the PC - much of it due to a higher possible resolution out of the rubbish 600p on the console versions... but instead you get smoking fast loading times. But CoD4 works better on console "IMO"

most developers are unable to make a decent port on the ps3 cause of its complicated hardware and have to run games of a fraction of the ps3's power cus they cant figure out how to utilize the whole system. which result in worse graphics. games look darker, but adjusting the gamma on them will only make them look worse compared to the 360s versions cause most games had less color definition so more gamma would blend colors together which would result in it the game looking less colorful
They both look the same apart from the 360 version looks slightly darker. To be honest though comparison through a youtube video is difficult because the video quality is nowhere near to where each should be.
there is some difference, the xbox360 textures are less grainy which tricks your eyes into thinking they are sharper when really they are just shiny pieces of colour

thats cool i just hope microsoft would just start doing more for its customers.. not just the gaming industry i just upgraded to vista from xp and it works like shit... slow crashes... all their upgrades have bugs and stuff... hopefully they dont charge alot for the jasper thing.... and personally consoles should last at least 10 years... my ps2 is like i dono 8-10 years and still works perfectly... i dropped it a couple of times too lol... well good luck see if u can get a cheap xbox if u want

Yeah it is very well indeed super rare. Its like when u heat your PS3 up to the max, or when u have it heated up minimally, but for a long time. Like when it heats up, you should shut it off or turn on the air conditioner or somethin.

By the graphics the PS3 and 360 aren't really differents but in the stability of the processors when they're working a lot the PS3 is in advantage with his architecture. (Example - lot of explosions, AI, bullets, damages et cetera and all the rest I can't tell you all you won't follow me)

Hmm, I see a difference. The PS3 version is a little darker in colour, which, makes it more realistic. The 360, however, has it brighter and a more clayish coloured tone. But, they're both the same game. Both are cool.
But, I just like the PS3 more. I'm a SONY fan :P

Ps3 is much expensive but got a lot of inside (Blu-Ray, free online, you can copy/paste music, vidéos and pictures from multimedia network, USB devices and CD/DVD/BRD without having to put your data on a a CD and to copy fom the 360 each time you want to copy somethingon his HDD)

And you dumbass PSP was the first Sony console to have SOE on it. Sony Online Entertainment. And Xbox had live, but sony never copied it. And PS3 made a comback by making more exclusive games than 360, more funs games, better games, and better features. While 360 is just stuck with Halo and Gears.

you can clearly see that ps3 v 360, the graphics themselves are fairly similar.
there were several times in that video when something happens on the ps3 that doesnt on the 360.
which to me shows that its more powerful, and thats kind of what every " ps3 fanboy" is trying to say.
360 is a good games console, BUT for next gen games its just not powerful enough.
2 or 3 years down the line, you'll see a noticable difference in ps3 exclusive games compared to 360 exclusive games.

I agree. Halo 3 wasnt that good and even 360fanboys need to agree. Metal Gear was amazing but had its flawas. But still deserved higher than halo.wtf. And all 360 fanboys need to stop crying. Personally I'm looking forward to purchasing a 360 because it has some games that I prefer over some ps3 games. I'm not saying that either system is "better" than the other but they both have good games and graphics and that everyone should just get over the fight about better graphics and games for each system and just get whichever system appeals to you more and stick to it or just get both systems.

Sorry kid, but that is inaccurate.
The PlayStation 3 has more processing horsepower, but the Xbox 360 has more graphical horsepower plus solid development tools.
Look at the industry and see which of the two is most critical when making games today and I rest my case.
None of the systems properly utilizes 1080p for games as they're both too weak, but putting the systems in comparison the Xbox 360 will have an advantage due to the additional 10mb of texture buffer.

Parts of the additional scoring of Xbox 360 games is the general functionality of the systems. Such as the achievements, Xbox Live functionality, and the entire package. While multi-system games have a rule to always look better on the Xbox 360 (CoD4, GTA4, AssCrd, EndWar, etc.) due to the simple fact the Xbox 360 is easier to develop for, offers more GPU headroom and reaches out for a significantly bigger -PLAYING- audience.

Ofcourse I know about the aspects, HDMI settings, and such. But that doesn't make up for anything. The video shows better TECHNICAL details on Xbox 360, slightly better shading, texture filters, etc. All you can change with settings is contrast, colors, and stuff in between - which goes for both systems.
What do talk about "pushing sales"? You listed future games - I mean actual SALES.

Super White, as far as I know a mere HDMI setting. It will not revolutionize the image, simply scale better against a certain monitor type. Just like all the HDMI color settings on the Xbox 360. Which kind of eliminated your whole... point.

i have both systems. i also have the darkness, the orange box, and cod4 and cod3 on both 360 and ps3. in my opinion for graphics:
Darkness: ps3 wins
Orange box: ps3 wins
Cod4: ps3 wins
cod3:360 wins.

For Orange Box it's a obvious PC-oriented production that should have remained that way since much of the glory of Valve is the speed of their updates even with a finished game.
Plus... Half Life (2) with a controller feels kind of handicaped on the PC too.
As for Call of Duty 4 it looks better on the PC - much of it due to a higher possible resolution out of the rubbish 600p on the console versions... but instead you get smoking fast loading times. But CoD4 works better on console "IMO"

if any of yall spent time looking at screen shot comparisons, you would see alot of 360 games looking better, epecially cod4. ps3 takes alot of things out, like NFS for instance. took signs, extra textures that the 360 had. COD4 had better texturing and more in it than the ps3 version. gamespot shows the comparisons. i use to have a ps1, and i own a ps2, and i still want a ps3, butt i have a 360 and the old xbox, so yes im a fan of the playstation, so im not hating. i just seen the difference

CoD 4 has the same graphics on both systems... but the previous game is way etter on the 360.. more high res textures on objects like shattered glass and bullet holes, on the ps3 version that looks blurry.. but the 360's its crisp.. and the framerate on the ps3 version was terrible

most developers are unable to make a decent port on the ps3 cause of its complicated hardware and have to run games of a fraction of the ps3's power cus they cant figure out how to utilize the whole system. which result in worse graphics. games look darker, but adjusting the gamma on them will only make them look worse compared to the 360s versions cause most games had less color definition so more gamma would blend colors together which would result in it the game looking less colorful
