  • bloody bum. i bet he doesn't pay his tax's

  • FOOK THE epensives lets all have a party there GOD I wish that place existed

  • a misappropriation of public funds - I hope the Trumpton paper has been informed !

  • The person driving the fire engine should have his license taken from him for breaking Health & Safety laws!

  • So he's using the firebrigade and public funds for his birthday party? :P

  • @Nibor7301 I can see another expenses scandal looming. ;)

  • I can't remember a single episode where the fire brigade WEREN'T called out!! Love this to bits though. So many memories.

  • no one in that world has frikken mouths!

  • @rhinomantis88 You know what, I've never noticed that before! lol

  • Boris Johnson wants a painting of London town hall ROFL...

Call the fire brigade... and put up the taxes to pay for it!

  • Thank Heavens there where no low bridges or telegraph lines as the fire brigade were looking for the artist!

  • Pugh! Pugh! Barney McGrew! Cuthbert! Dibble! Grubb!

  • free drinks and ice creams :) trumpton is so beautiful.

  • CGI fireman sam vs trumpton - no contest

  • I wonder if phoning 999 and asking your local brigade to help find an artist to paint a picture for the mayors birthday would get such a response these days!!

Seriously i loved this when i was tiny, thanks for sharing

  • @stashyjon You might get arrested!

  • @sirtinycreep No you would be arrested!

  • thanks @sirtinycreep for a whole episode of... Trumpton

  • You really got to think how many, buildings have burnt down while the, Fire Brigade were looking for this painter. Surely there are more important things they can be doing than finding, painters. Get the, Police of that.

Still, It is a nice series, You really got to miss when, Childrens Programming was decent, eh? o.O

  • In the night Garden ha an end sequence not dissimilar to this, where all the characters gather around a bandstand and a tune plays that is very much like this one. The tunes and songs to Trumpton, Chigley and amberiwick Green are all fantastic.

  • @kgriff65 Can you imagine doing that in real life? After your day at work, you don't go to the pub, or home to watch telly, you go to the Bandstand instead. ;)

  • I used to love the bandstand waltz at the end - the tune... every episode ended with that and I loved it! Fab memories from a long lost time....sadly.

  • In 2010 Trumpton is inhabited by Somalians and Paki's.

  • Note that at 3:29 the fire engine castes two shadows on the houses as it drives past. In reality there would be only one shadow. So we now have proof that Trumpton was faked, just like the moon landings.

    Shameful.

  • I never noticed.

  • Thank you so much for this :)

  • @JoeK0311 No probs!

  • brilliant =D

  • I'm gonna post some more. ;)

  • Free drinks and ice cream, if it was real i'd go myself!!!!!!

  • My freind is baking a cake. I must call Captain Flack immediately.

  • Not a very big turnout for the mayor's birthday. Maybe he had been fiddling his expenses claims.

  • This is really amazing, thanks for uploading

  • What I looked forward to in every episode was the 'band concert' at the end. That music makes me laugh out loud even now.

  • Makes me laugh now, when I come to think of it. ;)

  • ...and not only a band concert, but a band concert with an invisible guitarist in it, I could never work that out, that I heard a guitar, but could not see one.

  • Yes, it's weird, isn't it? That guitar is as plain as day. And I tell you what, Mr Clamp is a dead ringer for Neville Chamberlain! I'm surprised he didn't say 'Peace in our Time' when he handed the painting over to the Fire Brigade.

  • actually its a mandolin that you can hear. The guitar plays the intro/outro music

  • Thanks for the info, I never knew that. Good ol' Freddie Philips eh?!

  • your not wrong ! God bless his cotton socks!

  • god help the people of Trumpton if there was ever a fire...the town's brigade always seems to be otherwise engaged carrying out someone's tedious errands! Thanks for uploading this, it brings back a lot of very happy memories!

  • Thanks a funny observation. :)

  • Thx for sharing such a classic animation! ^_^
