Only a tiny part of the kart needs to touch the road (the outside discs on the bls are enough), plus there was a slight bounce there. So, glitch? No. Lucky? Oh yeah lol. :]

The db is a noob kart. It's for people who suck at handling and people who MT slow. The db is only a contender for the best kart for 2 courses: DP1, LC2. And that's just b/c the db can prb the offroad there and handle the extremely tight turns.

You only need a slight piece of the kart on the track to stay on, which is what happened. The discs on the side of the BLS kart are enough. MKDS doesn't have realistic physics in case you didn't notice.

The only problem I saw with anything was the 3rd lap where you slowed down. Other than that, you did pretty good to a pro's standards. Try beating my time next, 1:49:352.

1 If you were capable of 1:49 (w/o cheating), you would see many more mistakes than just on the 3rd lap. I made mistakes every lap & saying I "slowed down" isn't even a good way to describe my mistakes.

2 1:57:108 is not pretty good compared to my potential at the time, & compared to the current WR.

3 The current WR is 1:51:9xx. For you to cut down 2.6 seconds from that is impossible without a new strat, which would require video proof. So let's see it.

@ 99jjyy: things you can't do aren't automatically cheats. An AR is used for live ghost only (which doesn't affect anything, just lets you see it better), nothing else. 600cc would make you fly over the loop, you don't know what you're talking about. This is all 150cc... any good player can make this jump in 150cc.

The jump is much easier with using a mushroom there instead of a mini turbo (MT). It takes practice for the MT + jump.

To setup the MT and jump, swing out a little wide to the right, then quickly do a right MT. Look to finish and release the MT on the upward slope, not at the very top of the hill.

Jump a little early, not right at the top of the hill there.

Immediately after jumping, press and hold up on the d-pad. This tilts the kart down and makes you go faster through the air.

1. I used an Action Replay, not GameShark.

2. The only AR code I used was to watch my previous run in live mode (which is why it shows +0:00:000 at the laps), which doesn't change speed or any mechanics, and doesn't give me any advantage. Most of the top players do this just for better videos.

@ owen: yeah, that's what the "live ghost" at the beginning of the video is saying. Like marques said, I used it, but it's not really a cheat. That code doesn't have any effect on the game, just lets you watch your past runs in the live view instead of the crappy replay view.
