Thanks. With the electric heated engines you can get away with plain old enamel paint.. In fact I've found hi temp paints (BBQ in particular) don't cure properly anyway on these, getting tacky when they are fired.
I didn't remove the old paint. It forms a good base, since it won't burn off electrics either.
If you stick 2 immersion heater boilers on top of the existing blanket heaters, you might need two 15 amp circuits to power the beast. Everybody else might as well throw in the towel, after that show.
I've pondered a few times the limits of standard household wiring ;)
I did fix the SV's up, though, to where they will blow at 30-35 PSI and found that this set up will maintain 25PSI while running in this configuration. I'm certainly not unhappy with that. Might also have something to do with taking the boilers off last summer to give them and the heaters a good cleaning while I was waiting for the paint to dry.
I'm still thinking of upgrading to a pair with the more powerful immersion heaters to increase steam production even more. Then I'd have to up-rate the SVs to 30PSI or so.
You've got to love #20s. strongest jensen except for the #50.

Big improvement on the fire boxes. What did you use to paint them with? Did you sand off the puke pink?

You got 6 low efficiency generators to produce usable power, off of one toy steam engine. Truly amazing!

The Jensen 20 is a beast among toys. It just needs the proper motivation ;)

I should ask Jensen for a commission ;)
The 20 is really in a class of it's own. I'd say that the only thing keeping it in the toy steam category is the low operating pressure.
I know a fellow who has run one at 60PSI+. That was an impressive power generator.
