It was that regardless of how extensive the flooding was, or how rapidly it rose, it was still not a Tsunami. Tsunami is now a tag that people (like the poster of this clip) throw around since 2004, as it yields an emotional response. The media are the worst offenders at this, and it annoys me no end. Report facts, but don't make up taglines which are misleading and incorrect.

@mandddiiiable Well if you are American (just for size comparison sake) QLD is about the size of 3-4 texis's. its a big state in comparison, none of our rivers go to Melbourne, and only a few ( tweed river ect) go between QLD and NSW. but the twed in unaffected atm. My uncle saw that whole thing, it was a tsunami rolling down the main street. PPl where jjust pulling out of the shopping center and getting polverised. I was at the coast and nearly didnt make it home tonight cos of road closures.
