to be correct, it is still a neon, but built by the Street & Racing Technology team, making it Dodge's Neon street racing technology 4-cyl fwd model in the lineup of the other SRT vehicles. I dont know why the majority of SRT4 owners get their birdges all jumbled up over this. I myself own a 2005 SRT-4, and its been a great car on and off the track. ran a 13.62 @ 107mph on low-pro street tires and stock turbo. Gets pretty good gas mileage. Grow up people. Ok so that 2004rsx guy down there...the rsx is a joke. Ive had one, its slow as shit. Fuck vtec, what a joke. And the fact that im in 5th gear crusing 70mph on the freeway at 4,000 fucking rpm, is insane and it draggs like hell. Steering is soo sloppy and jumpy, not smooth and just too direct. Oversteer, and thats an understatement. Point: rsx is crap, over priced HONDA

All of the SRT's in this video have stock body kits. And just to make sure your properly informed, these little srt's will run with corvettes, do some research.

these cars are almost mod'd to their max potential you cant get much more out the them unless you do some bottom end work and twin turbo it or do some type of engine swap

They are not even close to max potential. You can achieve 400+ HP with stock internals, and actually, Modified Magazine is doing this as one of their project cars, just to show that the stock internals can handle it. You can put one of these into the 10's with stock internals, do some research before you speak.

All of the SRT's in this video have stock body kits. And just to make sure your properly informed, these little srt's will run with corvettes, do some research.

and yes they can run with stock mustang gt's, or z28 camaro's, but it cant beat a vett, especially if the vett was mod'd it wouldnt stand a chance
these cars are almost mod'd to their max potential you cant get much more out the them unless you do some bottom end work and twin turbo it or do some type of engine swap

@p8ntballcracker stock vs stock, there is only 3/10's of a second in the 1/4 mile, it can beat mustang gts and z28s, and it can run with a vette. You have obviously never driven one. They are not even close to max potential. You can achieve 400+ HP with stock internals, and actually, Modified Magazine is doing this as one of their project cars, just to show that the stock internals can handle it. You can put one of these into the 10's with stock internals, do some research before you speak.

it depends on what year camaro you have. the ones from the 70s only made 170 horse power. the 80s were between 190 and 275. and the 2000s were 275 to 345. but the lowest horse power neon still makes 150 horse naturally aspirated. and 420 horse with full boost. plus they only weigh 2600 lbs. my money is on the neon

3000gt, and i put a muscle 350hp GMR-350. and then i put the twin turbo 2nd gen in it and gave me about 750 hp with other mods of course. mostly my lil 17 year old bro drives my Rx7. i thought they were cool and all but they get boring sometime.
