i wander what will you do if you get a one saint but when you open it you can see some bad paint coz i just find out with my leo just got it last sunday thank you so much for your help
they do have re-edition, but not sure whether it is improved or still remains the same design. I only have collected the appendices, not this figure yet. :(
This is not the first edition... There was the first action figures when the Golden Saints and Poseidon Saints first came out... long time ago. They were made by Ban Dai as well, and made from metal too, but these are way better
Nice Review, I've gotten all the Saint Cloths as well, just kept them sealed because of Oxidation, if you want to protect your figure, I recommend getting some baby oil and polish the armour half a year to keep it in good condition!
@kusaka4 Ugh. I used to hate the humidity there. I heard people having the Gold Seiya's armor get oxidized. And I remember my dragonball cards all curling up. -_-"
I never got into Saint Seiya but I always thought the character designs were very cool. These figures look pretty impressive for the level of detail they possess. Great review!
I've just recently started collecting S.H. Figuarts and S.I.C. figures and I've also discovered the evil that is the Tamashii web exclusive. They're very cool but more expensive and as I don't live in Japan nor do I know anyone who lives there, I must purchase such exclusives through a proxy service.
@Guiltaur Yup! I actually haven't finished watching the series nor have I finished reading the manga. The design of the first 5 saints is what got me started collecting them because they look sooo good! And then I never stopped and they started releasing all these appendixes, special web orders and finally LC, and older saints. That's when I said enough is enough. I'm only going to finish the Spectre set, Hades, God cloths, and maybe God Cloth OCE. No more first cloth or silver saints for me.
@Gomenchaiii I personally am not too interested in the sries of the manga myself, but the design of Thanatos did get me interested. I was considering only collecting the Spectre and Thanatos originally. I found Griffon Minos at a good price but the others are too expensive, especially Bennu Kagaho and Thanatos. I'm looknig into Final Form Bronze as well but so far I only got Cygnus Hyoga, the others are too rare and sort after.
@ryc03 But Bennu is part of Lost Canvas, it's not even part of the main Myth storyline. :P You mean V3 Bronze or God Cloth? I find the God Cloths very beautiful. :D You can try looking ebay, sometimes I see a lot for sale. I have an extra God Cloth Seiya for sale too...I should sell it soon. o_O
@Gomenchaiii Ah.. but Bennu got big, black, beautiful wings! I am a sucker for things with big wings! I was hitting myself when I missed HLJ's new year bags when they put a Bennu + a lot of other extra for 3000yen.
As for Bronze. I'm more focus on the V3 version.... and maybe a God Cloth Andromeda...
Having all 12 Gold Saints on display together does make an impressive sight.... but with the draw back of burning a real deep hole to your wallet...... Great vid BTW!!!

Yea...these myth figures are so expensive...the price keeps going up and Bandai keeps releasing these Tamashii specials...I'm going broke so I decided to stop certain ones like Silver Saints and First Cloths (and I don't collect the Lost Canvas). That's how I got my normal flow of expenditure from myth allocated to Gundams recently. hehehe
