  • io ero lì sotto!!!! che emozione....

  • Gilmour's brain is so fucked up from the 70's that all it' can do is think of incredible guitar solos.

  • Playing this on guitar, if i knew how, would probally male my hands numb but make my ears comfortable........get it?

  • I swear some of the idiots here, its obvious hes not making ANI mistakes, ani REAL music appreciater would knoe that when you play live, your not gonna play it the way its played on the album, ppl go to a live show to see something spectacular nd awesome that couldnt be played at the time the song was made public for watever reason, if you wanna hear it played the way its done on the album then LISTEN to the album, dnt buy a ticket if your gonna be ungrateful. to you ungrateful ppl, t(-.-t)

  • It's simply unbeliveble beautiful. There's no other band on this world which play like them. I love them

  • Greatest arena Rock guitarist ever!!!Long live DG!!!

  • I love that mental bend he does at 8:15 :D

  • PINK FLOYD THE BEST. I saw this concert from home on the TV (even if I know it's not the same thing)...thinking I could be there...Now I can say I regret, as I regret the great RICHARD...We miss you..

  • david gilmour e rick wright....in pratica i pink floyd dopo quarant'anni!!!!peccato per richard wright

  • this is the year syd died this is for him

  • grande, ero lì, grazie per avermelo fatto rivedere!!!! peace & love

  • a su edad!!.. wow mis respetos!! Gilmour!

  • david gilmour gets more done with 20 notes than most people get done with 300 notes, and that is a fact.

  • io c'ero...

  • GREAT SONG!

  • Oh, yes - David Gilmour is what maintains the forces of the Earth in equilibrium. Love you David.

  • Thank you all very much to enjoy this video.

  • @bibirossa why is that other idiot singing

  • Respond to this video... piss

  • @miwila Ah comeon.....

  • to miwila: WTF are you talking about, this is one of the best improvs I have seen Gilmour do. He is a genious and btw, if he messes up, who GAF, he's Gilmour for christs sake! All great musicians miss a note here and there, but he can change directions so quickly you never know. Go watch spice girls or whatever crap you call music and leave greatness alone.

  • Great ... incredible. Thanks por posting!

  • gilmour docet.

  • 14 people be trollin'

  • Comment removed

  • @miwila WTF ?? David Gilmour and mistakes ?? You got to be fucking kidding me you moron. You are that retared that you don't know Gilmour plays guitar for over 40 years and he just don't do mistakes and his solo's slighty different on every live show !!

Is stupd to put such as dumbass comment as you did.

  • @miwila Dumb

  • @miwila dude your not a gilmour fan if your ganna point stupid things like that out, stuff like that dosent even matter. and besides hes over 60 liveing a rock n roll life style his entire adult life while liveing in the 60s 70s era what do you want from him, im sure his hands and mind has deteriorated in some way getting up in these old years, cant be helped.

  • @miwila Gilmour's been at it for a long time. I'm sure that any "mistake" on his part was completely intentional. While I agree this isn't quite his best solo on "Numb," knowing his playing style, if he was playing out of time, he meant to do so.

  • gilmour rulz!!!

    long life david gilmour

  • I love the Dave´s voice. It´s fantastic! Pink Floyd forever! ¡

  • I was there the night before, it was so awesome!

  • Was at this concert, was amazing!

  • RIP Richard Wright...

Epic seems too Internet-ish and kitschy ,guess magnificent or marvelous would be some better words.

Envy the ones who saw this live.

  • Amazing...as usual.....shine on....it was touch and go as to whether this would happen...as it rained and rained and rained....Gilmour did well here with all the probs that went with it...amazing but very wet.....thanx for the post.....

It is one of my dreams in life to see Pink Floyd, but in particular David Gilmour live. My hat is off to you.

  • Grande David Gilmour 4EVER!!!!!!!!!!

  • ONE MORE SONG

  • thats true!!

  • @LeoLovesNature

Perfection of the planet is David Gilmour

  • @LeoLovesNature Is not from this universe

  • Thankyou very much indeed, David, and bless you for staying true to Richard as a band mate, and he to you. You guys are treasures !!!!!

  • I'd say that was definately worth standing in the rain.

  • Awesome band, awesome music, awesome stage-shows - such a sad shame about RW, 'shine on you crazy diamond!'

  • Thank you David, thank you Rick, thank you Pink Floyd. You were, and will continue to be, One Of The Best.

Personally, I'm not religious, Rick, but I hope your leaving was as you hoped. Thanks for everything.

  • One of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever heard. A real work of art. Bravo, David.

  • Absolutely entrancing.

Doesn't this just give you goosebumps all over.

  • un bambino di 62 anni ke col suo giocattolo preferito vuol dimostrare ancora di essere il migliore, riuscendoci! Thanks Dave,July 12 1988 you changed my life in the "Stadio Flaminio"in Rome...20 years later my mother died in the same date.forever in my heart you and your Fender

  • Gilmour's guitar sound is something magic & unpredictable, anytime it seems we could touch the sky with the inner shine of the mind or of the heart, you choose --- there is so pathos until we touch the ground ...

    best of everything

    thank you David

    PEACE

  • Heh, who knew Rick had pipes :D

  • David can use the guitar better then his arms

  • 2nd best one ive herd live right after the pulse version of 94

  • just pause it at 3.02....wonderfull

  • Hes playing the solo in the dark, he's the guitarists God...

  • yeah.....I wouldn't challenge him for a guitar fight if i was you..haha...he's a grandmaster on guitar

  • Gilmour is GOD

  • you're right,,,

  • Absolutely Brilliant!

Rick does a great job for the verse.

And the solo WOW, that solo sounds quite different from all other live ones i have heard.

Might have to call this one my favorite :)

  • who the fuck said one more song the person must have been drunk asswhole or high

  • It is your entire ass.

  • i certainly was in the riot.

  • hks20psi,

The line is: 'I certianly was in the right'.

Just for yor F.Y.I Cheers, BlackAdder

  • Rick sings the verse very well, A good replacement fro Waters

  • ONE MORE SONGGG. faggot

  • I reckon that end guitar solo being different is down to im not being able to see lol, pitch dark!

  • The Man Himself

  • The spectators singing along... Is here any other possible and bigger "THANK YOU!" than this? I don't think so.PINK FLOYD, thanks a million!

  • great job mate this is the closest i'm gonna get to a proshot vid of this and this is exellent quality for a non proshot vid,

unlike the mobile phone 30 second clips people put up

  • Commenting on Roger's performances of Comfortably Numb...although they do seem weak, he likes to try to recreate the original sound of the songs. Gilmour likes to add some flare and his solos are incredible.

With that said, I still enjoyed Roger's show that I saw in 2006. (David's was better though =P)

  • I saw Roger Waters live yesterday, though a fairly decent show, this song failed with flying colors. I lasted only 6.20 minutes, and absolutely nothing epic about it. Maybe they were tired or something, but I was really looking forward to this song. In a Danish papers his show was rated 4/6 stars. Could't help wondering how awesome it would have been with the 3 other members. Really missed Gilmour!!

  • This song is all about Gilmour's haunting voice. Waters was the creative genius, but Gilmour just has that magic about him. Can't really explain it. There are better singers and guitarists about, but any Pink Floyd fan can appreciate the unquestionable majesty this guy has.

  • Pure7,

Gilmour wroye most of this song, F.Y.I

  • Alright... sorry if I offended you...

  • offend me? Are you a little 'light-headed'? I thought this forum was for fans. I just corrected you, not attacked you.

Seek some counseling ... when you graduate high school ... maybe before ... (just a friendly piece of advise). Blackie

  • It was the stereotypical "F.Y.I" giving off the irate fan boy vibe that I commented on. Not the correction.

Shit... I'd best be changing my ways if I have any hope of surviving "high school..."

  • I am sorry, sincerely. I get too emotional with this stuff.

And, [on one knee] you have earned my respect, for what ever's that worth.

Cheers, let's just raise a glass ok ?????

    -Black

  • This is Music

  • bune ya 23 nisan şenliklerimi :) hiç hazzetmedim doğrusu

  • Go pound salt Lymbo, people like you should be lined up on the wall and spanked!

  • Bullshit!!!

And if that's true...I don't know what I'd do with myself.

  • Ha ha ha ha ha, ok miss the best concert on this decade, your choice. Its it was officialy anounced 3 days ago.

  • !!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!

  • ha ha charade you are

  • youre a tosser dickhead

  • ONE MORE SONNNNNNG

  • Roger's shows are still awesome but there's a black hole in the music where Gilmore's guitar sound belongs. There's nothing like it.

  • I believe the sinister tone in roger water's voice is the thing that is missing in the Comfortably numb performances that David's group are playing... Let's face it... as good as any song can be... they will never measure against the ones form the time they where all together.....

  • my god, the sinister tone of roger is not important, it's just at the beggining of the song and it can be cloned by the keyboard player, although, rogers waters' guitarrist can't sing as well as david gilmour!

  • You could be the most ignorant Floyd fan ever, or just not recognize what true musicianship is. First, David Gilmour's touch and approach to the guitar, CANNOT be duplicated, even Bob Ezrin in an interview, laughed at the fact that people try to recreate his sound/touch. The best person who comes extremely close, if not achieves it, tours professionally with the Aussie Floyd.

  • Second, most Floyd songs are held dear because of A). Water's genius conceptual work/lyrics B). Gilmours Voice C). Gilmour's Guitars. Wrights Piano work/ and Nick Mason's simplistic drumming style. If you had any respect, or knowledge of guitar/musicianship, you would never EVEN think of comparing the people on youtube to David Gilmour. Absolutely Foolish.

  • Lui fa parte della storia del rock!

Dovrebbe insegnare agli odierni musicisti rock!

Ecco cosa sono stati i PINK FLOYD! ... lui

  • just enjoy the music

  • At 2:35... incredible the litle detail of the green lights behind David for a solo start. Let god solo begin with green lights of hope forever.

  • roger does this so much more faithfully. daves group is kind of a mess. rick wright sounds absolutely abhorrent

  • best song ever this and echoes.

  • io c'ero

  • those idiots who call elvis the king never listened to floyd, this is the best song ever recorded, EVER

  • Floyd takes everything to a new level. Listen, they survived everything the wreckage from World War II when Great Britain was broken and were able to point their country and the world in a new direction. Pink Floyd should be required listening in this day and age..

  • silence, stupid!

  • shut ur hole u fkn asshole and away and ride ur mum again everybody else has

  • not maybe

roger is on an history pink floyd!

but i think that gilmour still is king whith great music that is called HIGH HOPES!!!

  • not maybe

roger is on an history pink floyd!

but i think that gilmour still is king whith great music that is called HIGH HOPES!!!

  • DAVID GILMOUR IS KING OF MELODY!!!

  • no, hes just simply THE KING

  • this guy is an absolute guitar genius.

  • if god played the guitar he would be david gilmour lol

  • David Gilmour is a bitch! I don't know of any other guitarist who has such a knack for playing the perfect solo for a song. He says as much with one well placed note as most others say with all their guitar playing!

  • one of rock and roll's greatest songs... it's so soothing, so sad, but then it has the perfect balance with a powerful solo at the end. One of the songs I would like to be played at my funeral. I just did not like Rick on the Dr. vocals... it's weird, and he was out of tune.

  • obviously GOD play the guitar:D

  • how does his guitar not burst into flames in his hands haha?

I was watching his DVD the other day and he was soloing and i was looking at his hands and it struck me how GINOURMOUS (looney toons word i know) his hands are! i mean it looks like he could snap the neck of his strat with just his left hand.

anyways, he is awesome, check out him singing Syd's "Dark Globe" its awesome.

  • awesome song , on the best album ever too!!

  • b e a u t i f u l .

  • this song sounds x100 longer on shrooms

  • Sublime, estremecedor!!!

    Shine on!!!!!

  • so many years and...damn gorgeous.

  • i'm listen that....ALIVE ... it's amazing

  • I swear, people who haven't heard this song are really missing out...

  • That Voice :)

  • best solo ever indeed..
