You said it in the end he's a good "musical artist" which means I still appreciate his music and musical talent however I don't agree with the way he chose to handle a relationship situation.
I don't love Chris Brown any less because I never knew him on a personal level I never "assumed" anything about his personal lifestyle....woman beater, Gay, etc.
Was I shocked ? yes....confused..? yes
But I can not be angry based on my assumptions about his personal life.

I don't know if Chris Brown is sincere or not. I feel the reason why he made the public apology is because of his new album and to bring bring his lost fan base. Rhianna is at fault too, she can't keep hitting a person and expect a person not to hit back.

If you lose your temper and hit someone once, that is understandable/forgivable. But we all saw the picture of her face. Rihanna is a beautiful and talented young woman and I can't believe she's forgiving that.

I think he may have been sincere + real but he also wants whatever fans he had back as well. However he may just really be trying to change his ways and move on with his life. I think all we can do at this point is just pray for Chris + Rihanna, wish them much success in the future, and hope that they both continue to mature from this day forth.

I feel just like you Miss P..I really don't know if Chris' apology was real, but it did seem sincere to me as well...but ppl trip me out..here it is Chris made a public apology and R. Kelly who WE ALL knew for sure did an unlawful act got off free and blamed everybody and everything for his behavior...but we can't forgive Chris Brown ...it's a shame that some ppl look at celebrities like they are not human...and I appreciate ur perspective on this matter

I think Chris Brown's apology was sincere but at the same time I think he just wanted to get the fans he lost, back. Hopefully he's being honest with his apology.
Ms. Rihanna is at fault as well but no one deserves to get "beat up" the way she did. Its sad that this goes on in the world but people have to learn how to spot the signs of something of that nature or at least try to settle things differently, violence is not it!

i think that people have been very hard on him but just let her slide by like she was an angel, now don't get me wrong he was wrong for what he did but she had some fault in the situation also and i don't condone any type of violence in a relationship but he is human and not above having faults like anyone else. We need to stop acting like these celebrities are just regular people like us. Now its over lets move on to something else.

I cant listen to his music. it would be everything i am against. I guess I would put myself in Riri's shoes. Being choked to death? Getting punched? He wasnt sincere because one eye was on the cue cards and the other was trying to be 'sincere'. I find itt hard to think he was sincere especially since he was on the jet skis not soon after.
