are you fuckin insane, russia is not wealthier than the UK, its better than it used to be for sure, but its still way behind ALL the countries in the EU in terms economy, jobs, education, healthcare, pretty much everything. And Putin needs to go if the country wants to improve anytime soon. To those who say that Russia has the weakest economy in the G8... please, research next time? Russia has the 7th largest economy in the world, though, admittedly, gas makes up 60% of all exports. However, the reliance on gas is quickly lowering, with other markets making ~15% gains per year while gas makes ~4%.
