This is Renee Thomas of the St. James Baptist Church of Detroit Michigan. She's at Perfecting Church with Paster Marvin Winans now. She is Heaven sent, I love her and her Music Ministry. She back home in her rightful place. God bless St. James, Perfecting and every church door that open.

When did Pastor Nicks pass and who is the present pastor?

he passed in 1988. the pastor of the parent church (now named Shield Of Faith) is Bishop James A. Jennings Jr. there are two offshoot churches as well, the pastor of Historic St. James Missionary Baptist Church is Rev. Argustus C. Williams and there is also Original St. James Baptist Church but i forgot their pastors name.
