@MrMashetty no artist should be restricted to a specific genre because of the medium by which the create. any medium can convey anything. it's not doing anyone any harm. I like this film personally. robotics are best displayed using 3D in my opinion.

I'm sorry, but this is very boring and crappy.

You may think that i don't get the "deeper meaning" of the animation. No, I get it. I understand the "meaning" but it is still boring and crappy. All the time and effort that was put into this long and not so good animation could have been used to make a short and amazing animation.

Oh well, this video is old, so you guys are prolly way better by now.

It's over standard! Brilliant! I wish you'd done something for the environment at the end as well. It went too blank and empty a the end as there's nothing in the desert or where ever the robot is. But in total it was awesome man. Loved it.

well. i think the music walks hand in hand with that animation, 8 months and that was one of the best animes on youtube ive evr seen, no ones ever gonna top that the graphic was excellent and it was a heart felt storyline, i dont think any1 else has put 8 months into a single animation, i truly admire the effort of this masterpiece creation so well flippin done you deserve it :D :D

It's definitely a lot. But you're right, it's totally worth it. :) But the programming is actually separate from the art. The art needs just as many separate programmers, if not more!

I use Blender, which is free/open-source. It won't let me post a link, so just google Blender 3d.

Oh, you have no idea how long it takes. Writing a script, designing characters, designing environments, modeling characters, modeling environments, texuring characters, texturing environments, lighting environments, rigging characters, skinning characters, unwrapping characters, uv mapping character, animating characters, animating environments, reviewing animation, tweaking animation, tweaking lighting... It goes on and on.

...Why do I do this stuff again?!
