In several interviews (see the Sept. '06 Rolling Stone article, for one example) it is mentioned that he "smoked" marijuana with a vaporizer (I put smoked in quotes because it's not really smoking because the weed isn't burned, it's heated and turned into vapor that you inhale), but in more recent interviews he's said he no longer uses.

Honestly I think John looks high during concert for an appearance. Jimi looked high, well because he was. But when you have that stone still look on your face and then you come out fucking shredding, it really makes you get into it. I do it all the time because it makes you go from calm to crazy. It's like an adrenaline rush.

I went to Boston Conservatory for music and right around the corner was Berklee SChool of Music where John went. EVERY guitar player there smokes weed and does hard drugs. Even most of the teachers do too. I couldnt imagine that he doesnt, look at him he looks high during his concerts.

i know plenty of people who go to Berklee who do NOT do any drugs of any kind. One of my best friends plays guitar there and definitely has never touched any sort of hard drug in his life. To say that "EVERY guitar player" at that school does hard drugs is completely false. You probably don't know .0001% of the guitar players at/around/ or near that school. Grow up Peter Pan.
