When phone tech plateaus a bit more (like laptop tech has) you'll see people keeping their phones a little longer. I only got a nokia 6131 so I could use it with Blaze Mobile because my other phone didn't have NFC.
Is anyone at Nokia thinking of attempting to slow down the pace at which people in the West and parts of Asia think|feel they should exchange their phones for the latest model - be that as a result of cultural pressure or an active desire to engage with new developments? It seems possible to me that, as we rely ever more heavily on one single technological unit to complete so many tasks, we may develop a more potent hesitancy to part with the unit to which we fondly delegate more processes.
