It seems like optical stabilizer to me. I wonder how can they put in iPhone 4s,

@vuhoangdung The stabilization is being calculated on the fly by using data from the gyroscope, and the fact that the 8MP sensor is clearly large enough that they can do some overscan (recording larger than 1080p). The data combined with the ability to shift the image slightly results in a stabilized image.

wow a huge different, I thought it was bluffing, seems like it is a real deal. My samsung s8500 and LG Quantum have this feature but I never use them for video recording ...
