The only problem with the hands free laws is that no one seems to give a crap. The law passed this year in Oregon as well, and I was initially thrilled, until I realized that A) no one gives a crap, and B) they're not enforced by the police. It's a second level offense, so a cop can't pull you over for it. Then they release studies that show the law has no effect on reducing accidents. Well... DUH!

Dude this is just so hilarious,mainly because it's the truth,the cellphone law just gives drivers the opportunity to do other things while driving,since drivers know have an extra free hand.I have one question,is it illegal to drive while yapping with an imaginary friend on a house rotary phone?

Ive seen more accidents because of cell phones...Its a serious problem..and you add all the bad drivers out there which is like 90 percent...So that means I have almost a 100 percent chance of hitting my vehicle..not good!

Here in Holland it's been illegal for ages. Get fines of I beleive 150 euros. Instead, we use car kits like the Nokia Parrot. Bluetooth headsets aren't used verry much over here.
