I spelt the name of that book I mentioned above wrong. It's actually "Krieg dem Krieg" - which translates as "War on War". I hope you never have to kill children. Or somebody else's adult child - no matter what twisted notion you were brought up to accept about freedom and the fight to retain it entails.
Read Kriig Dem Krieg (look it up) and understand the true nature of war and peace and how church, state and industry work together on all fronts in all countries to continue the madness. Every soldier in every country believes as you do for their country, god or ambition. It's sad and proves the point I make. By the way that means that you are not protecting my right to even have this conversation. I'm not American or living there.
All I can say is if the day comes and you have to fire a rocket at a house full of children I hope you know you are doing it to make fat old men fatter and richer and your freedom dies the day you do that for them. Freedom isn't measured by how much you have in the bank or oil in your engine...it's choice. Freedom to choose. Maybe you;d be better off in that commune in Nebraska. Your obvious intelligence would be better served helping mankind than being part of the military that'll hurt them.
THey are the major economic powers of the world because they play at being the good guys but excel in being the bad guys - without the knowledge or approval of their own peoples. Islamists fight for inane beliefs - the Anglo American angle is business and control of energy. Wait until the China gets going then we'll see who is the economic power. Future conflict will be about wealth and control, like ancient conflict. Nothing changes. It's onlt the swords and arrows that get bigger. Sad.
this was a british though the inventer made the blue prints up in 1914 took it to the royal air force (RAF) n they laughed in his face saying jets in the air laughing away and in 1950s when he died and his patent ran out the raf began designs another person may of helped to build it but we owned all right and was a british design from the start most over great inventions we create aswell are usally stolen or inventors not taken seriuos becaue way ahead of the times
another great piece of british engineering technology the guy who invented this invented it in 1914 and i bet no1 would belive me on that but when he asked the raf to build it tey laughed but when they got used to building jet aircraft and used to it around 1950s they was exstremely intrested by the then guy had died who invented it
im sorry but your wrong in 1914 a british man had the design for it just everyone fort he was bonkers then wen he died and it was the jet age the raf took the idea on because he was dead he no longer had the patent americans allways steel stuff from britain and franch did not make it at all wot so ever typhoon eurofighter yes not harrier jump jet
I was assigned to the Blacksheep Squadaron at MCAS Yuma from 1994-1997 in the Powerline Shop. I love watching the VTO so I extend my thanks to whoever posted this.
But what it isn't is operational. That's why hecorrectly describes the Harrier as the world's only operational VSTOL aircraft, because it's operational, and has been for quite some time, unlike the F-35, which is not operational, as hasn't been for even longer.
I'd like to see these babies used against WMG corporate headquarters.

he's wrong there is the F-35 which unlike the harrier can take off and land vertically and go supersonic.
