I was at 3 tapings of this show in the 80's and one contestant was risking some BIG money. (I don't remember how much.) She was so nervous that each time they would go to a break, a stage-hand would bring her a bucket just in case she had to vomit. She threw-up three times during the game and ended up losing. True story. You can't make this stuff up!

Things are really good here. I like the Sale Surprises; even though I feel they should go together with the bargain prize such as another Musical Instrument; perhaps an electric guitar. Jim know how to say it & contestants know how to take it when it comes to instant bargains I feel. I feel that people are buying more here in the Winner's Big Money Era; which is dissapointing after the era of carefully considering when to buy the bargains. Elaine seems like a very good champion here.
