Did you visit the "Strode" House? It wasn't that far from the "Myers" House. A public library is right across the street from it. Unfortunately, there's no such town in Illinois called Haddonfield, but there is a Haddonfield, New Jersey.
Yeah, it was the first hedge closest to you in the video @ 3:23, not the other one. I visit those places every so often when I get the chance to where I live about 2 hours away from South Pasadena.
About the Myers house....it was not a Bird that flew into the window....it was the drain rain gutter and broke the window....not a bird. Birds don't fly at night. Otherwise...it was a good video...and you are wrong about the hedge too. It was the first hedge you came too...not the second. The second was to Annie's house. :)
This is a great clip and I lived in South Pasadena (not to be confused with Pasadena) when they filmed both Halloween and Halloween 2. I used to walk over every night from my apartment to watch them film. The Myers house was on the west side of Meridian, just north of Hope and on the northwest corner of Mission and Meridian was the hardware store. Also filmed no more than a quarter mile away was the Michael J. Fox movie "Teen Wolf."
My cousin said people thought the house was haunted, this was before the movie Halloween was filmed. It looks big on film, but in person its narrow, not that large for a 2-story house (I live in So.Pas) ... Ahhh, Buster's coffee shop.
the ending is funny!!!

After all these years I find out it was filmed in L.A. I thought it was filmed somewhere in the southeastern U.S.
