Why compare Gary with Gamboa ? Gamboa is 30 years old .. but yeah, Gary have a good offensive skills and impressive hand speed with a good power, but i think he have no defense, we gonna see with better opponents.

russell is no donaire,,,,,, as you can see hes the aggressor and donaire has quicker feet and great reflexes with superb counterpunching... russel has no head movements... getting killed if he fight gamboa.....

Gary really needs to clean up his defensive boxing. He's still quite a stationary target, and when he stops fighting bums and starts fighting guys who are just as athletic it might rear its head. Can't just rely on your hand speed and combinations in every fight.

His footwork is vaguely reminiscent of Chris Eubank's early stuff, very awkward and static. Effective as of yet too, but against a mover or skilled boxer ... well, yeah.
