Hi i just wanted to know what suspenstion mod you have ?.. Also do you think you will be able to dip in to the 10"s on 10 lb of boost with a full exhaust and a set of hole shots or bogarts wraped in some et streets?
1" drop, adj LCA, Rear Sway bar, adj Panhard bar, Panhard brace, adj shocks and struts. If I ran some race gas with some slicks and skinnies and slicks, maybe with some awesome prep and great weather I may see 10s. Steeper gearing would help too, prob some 4.10s with a 28" slick
The E55 driver is a good friend of mine. E55 AMGs can def hold their own stock, but with his setup, he hurts a lot feelings! It is a beast. He still has bragging rights over me as he has ran an 11.21 to my 11.32
Great run! Whipple makes an amazing supercharger =D Do you by any chance know what your car's RWHP & RWTQ dyno numbers are for this 1/4 mile run? I would amagine you are over 500 for both HP & TQ? Though, I could be wrong? Thanks
ilovethe e55 amg is it relaible? goodrun by both cars. i have a acura TL now 6 speed but the amg E55 is a beast. i want one so bad. nice race between you to. renntech is a beast isnt it? props to both rides
E55 driver is a good friend of mine (mustang is mine). No problems with his car that I know of. He also just threw on a 50 shot and nothing wrong yet (has done 128 mph with the 50shot). His car is a beast and sounds amazing as well.
Sweet. Thanks bro. I'm gonna try dropping at around 4K rpms my next time out, but I'm a bit concerned about the stock tranny. Oh well, gotta pay to play.
I'm dropping the clutch at around 3800 rpm. I've been trying to come out at more rpm but with our track, prep is always a crapshoot. 5800 is a lot of rpm to handle, I'm sure if I was coming out that hard I'd be feathering the clutch also. I've been testing out around a 4500 rpm clutch drop, but haven't tried it out enough to come up with a good conclusion yet.
Hey, I'm running the exact same setup as you down to the tires on my '06. Just wondering what RPMs you are launching at and how you're treating the clutch off the line. I'm running a SPEC II and find that I have to feather it a tiny bit when I launch at about 5800 RPMs. Your 60' times are outstanding. I can't break 1.7
Awesome launch. The stang looked like it was shot out of a cannon.

I was looking at rentech price list for 55amg with 469 hp, here what i found on their website:
RENNTECH PKG4
ECU, crank pulley, CF airbox, SS headers, 82MM throttle body
589 HP @ 6100 RPM; 626 LB-FT @ 3600 RPM; +2 MPG 14695$
Kinda a lot for bolts on parts. around 123$/hp o.O you can buy used C32 amg for around 15-18k

Thanks for your advice (below) a few months ago. I snagged a pair of 11.39@119mph runs using your advice at no problem raceway.

Wow great times and 60', the e55 is actually a pretty fast ride even unmodified, congrats on the win. What psi did you run in the mt's?
svtmattUT 2 years ago
I usually run 14 psi and adjust a psi or two from there depending on how the track is hooking.

Wow nice run. There's a Whipple-powered '08 Bullitt for sale near me that I'm THIS close to buying and this video just makes me want it even more.
