@unknownloader its not really his own accent though is it. These Scottish bands that are singing in this put on Scottish accent, its still false. It's not a natural way for the human voice to sing. When people sing naturally they sing in a neutral manner, they sing with no accent at all. They easiest label to give it is American accent.

@elmington while they're probably trying to emphasise the Scottish accent, not everyone can avoid singing with their accent. I'm Australian, and whenever I sing (which is rarely because I sound like a dying moose) it's in an unavoidable Aussie accent.

KT Tunstall, Justine Currie, Mike Scott, Marti Pellow. You mean to tell me all their voices carry a scottish identity. The reason these new bands like Twin Atlantic sing with scottish accents are because people like The Twilight Sad and Glas Vegas made it trendy to do so!

I have just started to listen to this band and i am already addicted. You know what i like? I like how they are original but groundbreaking, also u can tell that they are very passionate about their music, u can always tell the singer is giving it his all, along with the rest of the band. They have a very good blend and i cant wait to see what they become and what they do to build on their last album (which was amazing!)

Actually i'm going to take all that i said back, about how Blink182 could have got a better band. Twin Atlantic are good, their scottish, they sound similar to Biffy Clyro (thats not a bad thing) and their becoming more and more successful.
