People might think that you should raise your hands twice, and say Allahu Akbar in the second time. You only do "Takbeerat Al Ihram" once. The man was "maybe" doing some duaas before starting the prayer, which is totally optional.
sorry, but i am reciting as "Rabana attina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil akhirati hasanatan wakina ghazappanar birakhmatika ia arkhamar-rakhimin" before saying salam for both sides. is it permissible?
@azekegame well its permissible to read that , but the most authentic dua is (Allahmu inne awazo bika min azabil qabar wa min azabi jahanam wa min fitnatil mahya wal mamaat wa min fitnatil masihe dajjal ) and except these there are many more duaz that u can read ..
God did reveal in the Land of Kedar, through prophet Muhammad - a direct descendant of Kedar, a "New Song" - The Qur'an (Koran). This happens to be the only Scripture to be revealed in the language of the Kedarites. The verses of the Qur'an are recited like a poem
"Behold, the former things are come to pass, and the new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them. `Sing unto the Lord a new song, and his praise from the end of the earth'. Let the wilderness and the cities thereof lift up their voices, the villages that Kedar doth inhabit: let the inhabitants of the rock sing, let them shout from the top of the mountains. Let them give glory unto the Lord, and declare His praise in the inlands." Isaiah Chapter 42, Verses 9-12.
"They shall be turned back, they shall be greatly ashamed, that trust in graven images; they say to the molten images, 'Ye are our gods.'" Isaiah 42 Verse 17.
The problem with Islam that the prayers are loud recitations of the quran, that means is a reading prayer! Or the five obligatory prayers each muslims has to do in a day, here too it is just to memorize it ! Instead prayers should be according to the need and the circumstances, Speaking with God is not a matter of five obligatory prayers but the words should come from our heart .don't you think that God is tired to listen the same prayers ?
@SuperPricil my dear, we are not talking to God, as you say, rather worshipping him, so duah is talking to him, that can be done any time and Salah is worshipping him, we worship Allah as a duty, its the main concept of our faith that we exist to Worship him, that;s why humans were created. Since worshipping God is a duty, you are enjoined to always keep him in mind, 5 times a day, that reminds us and refreshes us on why were really here. All our actions, in life are for the sake of God :)
But why you remember God the Almighty only 5 times a day ? you can approach God whenever you want also 100 times it doesn't care how many times you do. on the night before he died, Jesus prayed all night and so intensely that “his sweat became as drops of blood falling to the ground.”
How glad we can be that Yehowah God puts no limit on how long or how often we may talk to him in prayer.
God’s love in a very personal way,instead meaningful, heartfelt prayer builds our faith.
@SuperPricil and a life with out purpose is not worth living. You live for some one, we are born to in to servitude, serve the system, the norm, your spouse, your desires, or God. I chose God. :D Peace!!!!!!
@SuperPricil ....:) Islam is something I chose, because its all around perfect, which suits a religion befitting of God, but let's not forget that in Islam, Christianity and Judaism have their due respect. Your relgions to are from God, however, through history have been polluted....dont believe me? then look in to how Halloween came about, or Valentines Day, or even christmas, these have pagan origins, paganism is not monotheism.
You said that In islam all things around are perfect.
But all the world saw what happened to the arabs world, called Arab Spring from Tunisia to Bahrain to Yemen and so on muslims vs muslims, killing one another now is in Siria too. Allah where is ?
@SuperPricil Yes, if they were to have followed Islam, they would have never killed eachother let alone any one, christian, jew or hindu. But they didn't so its sad, yes, nothing to do with Islam though, not all muslims follow Islam, why they choose to call themselves muslims, is beyond me as well. Because you are not a muslim with out faith, and if you have faith you likely follow through.
@SuperPricil look, like i said you are right, these people are not following Islam, they are following satan, and yes I'm reading up on christianity, so I can find points to rebute.

"And *also* of the son of the bondwoman I will make a nation, because he is thy seed."
Paraclete ? Suppose that the Paraclete (the comforter) was a person , who was supposed to comfort? surely the Jews, Jesus was a jew. Sorry, I do not want to offend you, but what it has to do Jesus (a jew) with Arabs . The center of worship of the Jews was in Jerusalem ,not Mecca (Saudi Arabia).

And yes absolutely there is no limit to prayer!! SubhanAllah. That's why we praise him before eating, or any action. and Yes, God listens to our call always,
just to clarify the prophet muhammad was not a christian, or anything before he met Gabriel. He lived in Saudi Arabia, far from Palestine, where Jesus was born. And he never the read the bible, its a historical fact, that not just muslims accept, but non muslim historians, that he was illiterate, and the language used in the Quran is superior arabic, so much so, that the arab linguists of his time, knew that he was not lying. and knew that no human being could come up with such eloquence.
and I dont even understand why christians argue so much, its like, realistically, and secularly speaking, we both worship the same God, and if anything no offence, muslims are the most committed group to him that exists. Not all, but manyyy.. so if anything be happy, taht we believe in the same thing as you pretty much, except even more.
Salaam alaykum, a quick question. According to Sunnis believes (specially wahhabis) speaking to the dead people are Haraam and Shirk. Why do you say Salaam to Rasul Allah (PBUH) when he is already dead?
@AnNisa5947 Subhan'Allah I think the correct term is your a new Muslim but I understand your nevertheless... As far as using the audio to help you pray I would think myself that it is OK because you don't know how to pray alone yet so it's as if the audio is leading you in pray... but be hast to learning Insha'Allah. Enjoy all your Salaat's Peace be upon you. Fi Amanullah.
According to Muhammad, "contemplation for one hour is BETTER than 60 years" of this, and :seeking knowledge for one hour is BETTER than SEVENTY years" of this sort of thing. So, seek knowledge and save yourself a WHOLE lot of time. Maybe Muslims could even win Nobel Prizes if they heeded Muhammad's "seeking knowledge" saying?
Asalaam alaikum WW. brothers and sisters... after every namaaz/salat you feel a new life and vibrations that come into ones body and that actually is the angels of ALLAH S. touching you
@usabunny1 :D That's fantastic ! I reverted almost a year ago now ! x
All you need to do is take your shahadah : Ashadu allah ilaha il lalah was ashadu ana muhammadur rasoolah :) - I testify that there is no God but Allah and Muhammad (peace be upon him) is his messenger .
If you ever need help or advice , just add me. Welcome to the deen :D
Im so confused about prayers. I have attempted a few times, but i dont understand the difference in which parts are fard and which parts are sunnah... Can anyone help
@aaronharun no fard is what allah has said u must do and sunnah is what the propet said to do. but they 2 rakaats both have the same structure. the difference comes in 4 rakaats
@10400274 yes buh there is fard and sunnah in wudu as well however ppl do both. the same way i pray sunnah and fard as do other afghan muslims. there are different beleifs in islam like sunni and shuya and different beliefs in them as well, that hav diferences like this, but the small thinfgs dont matter
I have wanted to be Muslim for many years now. I finally went to the mosque(i was so scared and nervous thats why I hadn't gone!). The mosques in my town don't have classes for new muslims so I have to learn on my own. I plan on starting off by just learning Fajr prayer and then go on to the others. I plan on watching this video until I can memorize and learn the prayer and steps and then do it confidently. Thanks so much for this video!
mashallah all of you are learning and my wife convert to islam recently and she was looking this nice and knowlwdgeable video and i m greatfull and thanksfull to that person who uploads it :) thanks
Assalamu Alaykum warahmatula wa barakatu. I have a question...is it okay to pray with this video during prayer?, because I m a convert and iv only learned half the prayer....
@scab0527 walikom assalam wr wb , Congratulation sister and welcme to Islam, well i guess its ok to listen to an audio and repeat theprayer after that:) May Allah give u more strength, Ameen
@banandababa well its must in prayer. u should learn it. 4.20 is a Dua so there are more than 10 duas that prophet Muhammad swallahu 3alahi wsalam used to recite , so u can learn the one which is easy for u :) and u can recite more than 1 aswell ..
@Emaan00 As-Salamu Alaykum brother, I am turning 14 and I am starting to pray , i started out maybe 2 -3 times a day and now i am almost starting 5 times. What is the order in the prayer? from morning to dawn, what are they called in arabic? also, The Dua's you say, is that what you have to say whilst praying? thank you brother, may allah help you and your family. :)
don't be making things more complicated for beginner muslims that they quit praying cause what you are talking about is impossible to do. after all we all have many things to do :) so you might want to change this.
do what you want but don't make things up like this.
u hav only included fard! pray must include sunnah as well, although sum follwers might only pray dhuhur 4 fard, the rest of prayer must include sunnah.
i am afghani muslim and hav friends who are arabic this is how i no this. isha as i understand, being afghan is that 4 fard 2 sunnah and 3 witr must be prayed
@Emaan00 As-Salamu Alaykum brother, I am starting to pray , i started out maybe 2 -3 times a day and now i am almost starting 5 times. salam aleikem :) have a question -- I thought that at the end of the namaz, you fold your hands and say a wishing or a duaa and rub the hands on your face? is that right?
@cotonpickn000 W'alleikum Assalam!that's right brother, you can read many kind of duas , but these videos were about teaching obligational prayer not sunnah or dua. Namaz it's persian =prayer. Arabic salat=prayer.
salam alaikem :)I have a question -- I thought that at the end of the namaz, you fold your hands and say a wishing or a duaa and rub the hands on your face? is that right?
@Emaan00 Salamu Aleykum brother. I have just started to pray and wanted to know, dont you as sunni muslim start standing with "Subhana Kalla Humma Wa Bee Hamdika Wata Baara Kasmooka Wa Ta'ala Jaddoo Ka Wa La ilaha Ghairuka" Then read, "Aaoo Zoo Billahee Minash Shaitaunir Rajeem" Then read, "Bismillah Hir Rahmaanir Raheem" And then read SURAH FATIHA???
@r33yah Asalamualekum,Sunnis pray with their hands on their chest (because the Prophet Mohammed pbuh did so) and shia's pray with their hands open ,sunnis cannot speak to nobody or look at nobody when they pray,and shia's talk and pray at the same time they also don't pray sunnah or 5 times a day their a bunch of weirdos no joke
@butshekana This brother is Sunni! And everything with his prayer was ok. he demonstrated obligational prayers(fard) becoz if he would demonstrate sunnah prayers everybody could be more confused. Becoz that there a lot of sunnah prayers.
@RustLionofDesert As long as it helps some one learn how to perform Iqmat asalat,Lol I remember when I was trying to learn how to pray I got confused because of the whole Hanifi,Maliki,hannabali,and Shafi thing so I went to the mosque to learn at first hand Alhamdulilah I was taught to pray with my hands on my chest just like Rasulilah did
@butshekana Year that's right. Madhab you follow and salafee you follow it's true. All Madhabs and only True real Salafee' s way is true, coz they all follow Quran and Sunnah. Salafee were 1st 3 generations of Islam, then these 4 Madhabs(4 schools) inherited whole practice and whole true the same as was at the time of Rasulullah(pbuh).
@RustLionofDesert The sad part is a lot of them know this info but they rather follow a fiqh instead of the sunnah.I guess they are a reminder of this statement: "this ummah will split in 73 sects ,all of them will be in the fire except those that follow me & the Sahaba.
salam aleikum sister, could you tell me the surah the brother says when he is sitting down in the second rakat the surah where he seeks protection from Allah against Dajjal and the grave/fire? Salam alaikum =)
@MaudeJ ,, Dear bro when u stand to pray, knowing that this is Zuhr prayer, for ex , and u intend to offer the prayer and get up to do it it, then u have formed the intention. It is not essential – and in fact it is not prescribed – to say out loud, “I intend to pray Zuhr prayer” etc, as some people do. This was not narrated from the Prophet (pbuh), and the place for the intention is in the heart.
The Tashahud: Attahiyyatu lullahi wa ssalawatu wa ttayyibat, assalamu alikom ayyuhan nabiyyu warahmatul lahi wa barakatuh, assalamu aalayna aaibadil lahis saliheeb, Ash hadu an la ilaha illa lah wa ashhadu anna Muhammadan Aabduhu wa rasoluh.
Prayer upon Muhammad saw after the tashahhud:
Allahumma sali Ala Muhammad wa aala Muhammad , kama sallayta Aala Ibraheema wa Aala ali Ibraheema innaka hameedun Majeed,
Emaan00 - I'm not religious but really found this video interesting. I'm particularly curious about the part that runs, "Mohammed is his slave and messanger... Send blessings upon Mohammed and the followers of Mohammed" but then follows, "As you send prayers upon Abraham and the followers of Abraham". Is this an express reference to Judaism / Christian faith being acknowledged from the same God? Sorry for the silly question - just curious!
yes. you are correct. Muslims believe in the same god which jews and christians pray to. The Quran acknowledges them as followers of the book and that they are accepted by Allah.
At tahyato lil llahi wa salawato wa taybato assalam o alika ayyohan nabio wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuho assalam o alina wa ala ibadillahi swaliheen , asshhado ann la illaha illaho wa asshha muhammadann abdoho wa rasolohoo,, then durrod,
at the end recite the dua
allhauma inni awozo bika min azabil qabare wa min azabi jahanam wa min fitnatil mahya wa mamati wa min sharril masihi dajal
Is it really needed to recite faijr ALOUD? I mean, can I do it by whispering (like I say it really quiet and if someone was ver near to me he/she could hear it, no one else, and my lips and my tong are moving), is it enough?
can you perform the witr pray?and salat u lail?

And he never the read the bible, its a historical fact, that not just muslims accept, but non muslim historians, that he was illiterate, and the language used in the Quran is superior arabic, so much so, that the arab linguists of his time, knew that he was not lying. and knew that no human being could come up with such eloquence.
Nottafooh1 2 months ago
and I dont even understand why christians argue so much, its like, realistically, and secularly speaking, we both worship the same God, and if anything no offence, muslims are the most committed group to him that exists. Not all, but manyyy.. so if anything be happy, taht we believe in the same thing as you pretty much, except even more.
Nottafooh1 2 months ago
Salaam alaykum, a quick question. According to Sunnis believes (specially wahhabis) speaking to the dead people are Haraam and Shirk. Why do you say Salaam to Rasul Allah (PBUH) when he is already dead?
ovahidi 3 months ago
Salam.
I got a question, At 4:05, should not it be Ibraheema instead of Ibrahim? This same goes with Mohammdin instead of Mohammad.
Peace.

I'm a new Shahada and I'm trying to learn the Salat is it ok that I pray with audio to help me?
AnNisa5947 6 months ago

Maybe Muslims could even win Nobel Prizes if they heeded Muhammad's "seeking knowledge" saying?

usabunny1 7 months ago
@usabunny1 Alhamduliiah!
If You are really serious about converting then all you have to do, is take the shahada, or declaration of faith.
you should do it in Arabic and also is English.
The meaning of the Shahada: I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and Muhammad is his messenger.
In Arabic it is pronounced as: Ash-hadu an la illaha ill-Allah, wa Ash-hadu anna Muhammadan rasul-Allah
If you have any problems with pronouncing the shahada please visit Chat Islam online (website0

@usabunny1 :D That's fantastic ! I reverted almost a year ago now ! x

Can anyone help
sd2805 10 months ago
@sd2805
well
first of all
2 rakat of fard and sunnah are the same
the 3rd and 4th however r different
with sunnah follows the same structure as the 2 rakkat
however fard you only need to say surah al fatiha in the beinging of the rakat.
if u have anymore questions i can help. btw are you a convert? in that case i might need to say things in more detail.
aaronharun 9 months ago
@aaronharun no fard is what allah has said u must do and sunnah is what the propet said to do. but they 2 rakaats both have the same structure. the difference comes in 4 rakaats
10400274 9 months ago

3rd its Asar 4 Rakah, which is Fard
4th its Maghrib 5 Rakah, 3 Frad and 2 Sunnah .
5th its Isha 9 Rakah 4 Fard, 2 Sunnah and witr u can pray witr 1.3.5... Rakahs
which Dua ????
Emaan00 1 year ago
@Emaan00
what are you talking about
Fajr = 2 rukaat
Dhuhur = 4
Asr = 4
Maghrib = 3
Isha = 4
don't be making things more complicated for beginner muslims that they quit praying cause what you are talking about is impossible to do. after all we all have many things to do :) so you might want to change this.
do what you want but don't make things up like this.

r33yah 1 year ago
@r33yah its the way of our beloved Prophet Muhammad saw , they way he used to pray
Emaan00 1 year ago
@r33yah Asalamualekum,Sunnis pray with their hands on their chest (because the Prophet Mohammed pbuh did so) and shia's pray with their hands open ,sunnis cannot speak to nobody or look at nobody when they pray,and shia's talk and pray at the same time they also don't pray sunnah or 5 times a day their a bunch of weirdos no joke
butshekana 1 year ago
@butshekana This brother is Sunni! And everything with his prayer was ok. he demonstrated obligational prayers(fard) becoz if he would demonstrate sunnah prayers everybody could be more confused. Becoz that there a lot of sunnah prayers.
RustLionofDesert 1 year ago
@RustLionofDesert As long as it helps some one learn how to perform Iqmat asalat,Lol I remember when I was trying to learn how to pray I got confused because of the whole Hanifi,Maliki,hannabali,and Shafi thing so I went to the mosque to learn at first hand Alhamdulilah I was taught to pray with my hands on my chest just like Rasulilah did
butshekana 1 year ago
@butshekana Year that's right. Madhab you follow and salafee you follow it's true. All Madhabs and only True real Salafee' s way is true, coz they all follow Quran and Sunnah. Salafee were 1st 3 generations of Islam, then these 4 Madhabs(4 schools) inherited whole practice and whole true the same as was at the time of Rasulullah(pbuh).
RustLionofDesert 1 year ago
@RustLionofDesert The sad part is a lot of them know this info but they rather follow a fiqh instead of the sunnah.I guess they are a reminder of this statement: "this ummah will split in 73 sects ,all of them will be in the fire except those that follow me & the Sahaba.
butshekana 1 year ago
@butshekana Yes that's right that' Ummah will split in to 73 sect only 1 will be on true way (those who follow sunnah , quran, sahaba)

and also after the second raqat or second time praying he says something... those long lines...
can you write it down for me? i cant find it anywhere and im not sure what theyre saying.
MaudeJ 1 year ago
@MaudeJ ,, Dear bro when u stand to pray, knowing that this is Zuhr prayer, for ex , and u intend to offer the prayer and get up to do it it, then u have formed the intention. It is not essential – and in fact it is not prescribed – to say out loud, “I intend to pray Zuhr prayer” etc, as some people do. This was not narrated from the Prophet (pbuh), and the place for the intention is in the heart.

Heritagius 1 year ago
@Heritagius
yes. you are correct. Muslims believe in the same god which jews and christians pray to. The Quran acknowledges them as followers of the book and that they are accepted by Allah.
