What I found interesting was trying to figure out the calculation of the odds that a satellite launched in 2006 would come so close to an incoming object only discovered towards the end of last 2010!!

Also interesting that NASA intends to switch from 720 kbps to 160 kbps 10 days before the critical date, what a missed opportunity!!
